LFS not more working with wine [ solved ]
Upgraded ubuntu to 11.04 version yesterday. Also installed latest wine via this instructions:

http://www.multimediaboom.com/ ... tu-11-04-10-10-10-04-ppa/

Now when trying to start LFS request window with ok button comes saying:

"Could not initialize D3D, DirectX 8.1 or later is required"

In console comes:

err:wgl:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo couldn't initialize OpenGL, expect problems
err:d3d_caps:WineD3D_CreateFakeGLContext Can't find a suitable iPixelFormat.
err:d3d:InitAdapters Failed to get a gl context for default adapter
Direct3D8 is not available without OpenGL.
petria@i7:~/.wine/drive_c/LFS$ wine LFS
err:wgl:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo couldn't initialize OpenGL, expect problems
err:d3d_caps:WineD3D_CreateFakeGLContext Can't find a suitable iPixelFormat.
err:d3d:InitAdapters Failed to get a gl context for default adapter
Direct3D8 is not available without OpenGL.

Before the 11.04 upgrade game worked fine...

Any hints how to make it work again is warmly welcome!

No experience with Ubuntu, but this looks like you don't have proper drivers with 3D support. What card do you have? Make sure to use the proprietary nvidia or catalyst drivers instead of the open nv/nouveau/radeon drivers (I think Ubuntu uses these by default)

do it with beer than ! XD
Solution
As the 11.04 was/is still beta state looks like it's nvidia drivers which installs from repositories doesn't have 32bit compability libs with. When removed repository drivers and manually downloaded & installed ones from nvidia.com/drivers all works again normally.
