Not stutters but it's really hard on the GPU, my GTX 770 is running at 99% GPU usage in some parts.
I broke it, works again.
That is someone else, mine is still LFS at AC with freejoin, no password since "normal" people can't join anyway.

more mature? Did you join any public servers already? The steam thing really didn't help in gathering a mature crowd, there's plenty of spoiled kids driving in reverse or standing in the middle of the road.

Remember to add SLEEP_TIME=1 in your server cfg, even with that it's still using 30% cpu time on my little linux box.
Anyway, got a freejoin server up and running, if anyone feels like testing.

You need the freejoin mod by kegetys posted on the previous page.

No penalty system next time plox k thx, it's not like we have people constantly cutting everywhere in LFS since we don't have the system here. I've got no idea why this should be turned on at all, especially while the server is passworded.
In other news, looks like Kegetys found a way around the "pre booking" with some modifications anybody can join a server no matter what session is on.
That sucks, now Flame lost his slot he booked earlier...

I'm running 50 fov, was lower but can't adjust the mirrors so I went up a little. 
And no I didn't spin anywhere, thats all lies! Was good fun though, shame the first dude was a little fast and the second a little slower.

Well, towards the end netkar was actually ok to race online, you could switch sessions on the server and kick/ban people, it still was missing a lot of stuff that would make life a lot easier for hosters and players tough. But I guess we're also used to features other titles do not have because we come from one of THE online sims, makes you appreciate the work scavier put in over the years to make it the complete package it is today.
Couldn't get the server running on my linux box with wine, and can't be bothered to host it on my connection every day. I'll probably do a passworded race evening for lfs'ers again tomorrow if everything works out.
I just wish things would be easier for hosters and players, Kunos hasn't learned a single bit (or just doesn't think it needs priority) from the online disaster that was netkar. I do think however that the release is rushed, they certainly where not ready last week, so with a bit of luck in a couple of weeks we may see some big steps towards something that actually works for public racing.
