Hi, I've gone through the regedit process and changed the OEMbackground file value to 1 in the registry editor plus created two new folders (info and backgrounds) in C:\windows\system32\oobe and also put a jpg image in the background folder which is only 72kb, what else can I do? Because I only see the default log on/log off screen on startup

Did you name the jpg file as "backgroundDefault.jpg"? It wouldn't work otherwise. Also, it must be less than 245KB in size.

Yes, I've done that

What is the resolution of your image? If the aspect ratio isn't recognised or image too large, the default background will be used instead.
