Pitting rules:
Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time,which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

The 6th year of RTFR XL opened with a 3rd race ever using XRG car,coincidentally again on custom racetrack - this car has never been raced on standard configuration in RTFR XL. The beginner friendly RWD car attracted a total of 43 participants,tying the all time highest attendance in the longer RTFR series,but only due one late joiner we had a full 40 car grid - for the 3rd time in RTFR XL history.
Upsas set the fastest laptime in qualifying and earned his 1st ever pole position in this event series,but his advantage was not big,which means he saw his main rival quite a lot during the 44 lap race,mostly in mirror though. At the late phase of the race he got a slight distance from the chaser and Upsas crossed the finish line to score his 2nd RTFR XL racewin and 4th top5 finish out of 4 overall finishes. His main rival was the defending champion R.Kardol,who led 14 laps due different pitstop tactics,but eventually could not keep up with leader and finished 2nd,clocking 5th closest finish in RTFR XL history and scoring his 27th top5 finish. The dutchman also set the fastest lap of the race during his chase - 6th for him,tying Fast for 2nd most. Fatal had his best ever RTFR XL event - 4th place in qualifying was improvement by 1 position and 3rd place finish - by 2 positions and also 2nd top5 finish. V.Laguckas could not complete his late race tries for podium finish and after 2 normal RTFR racewins had to settle just for 4th place in this race,5th top5 finish in his account. Onur completed the top5,which is a great improvement from his previous best 15th position,also 3rd place in qualifying was an improvement of 21 positions.
* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
The 1st XRG race in RTFR XL had just 6 finishers (20th RTFR XL),now more than 3 years later we had exactly 5 times more drivers crossing the finish line,with additional 2 being classified in results - XRG's popularity has increased so much to put the car in 2nd place in most attended cars chart.
* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
Michal stopped in his pitstall with words "Niko,watch this" to show how it's done and had the shortest legal pitstop of the race with 10.08 seconds - competition was very close.
* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
As usual starting from behind is a good chance to get into this field - 136mph joined the race and hopped onto last available grid spot,during the race he gained 19 positions to finish 21st,but misbehaved on his pit exit,earned 10 seconds penalty and finished 2 positions lower with actual 17 positions gain,still most.

Next RTFR XL race in 4 weeks will be the first one to feature a mod car - the winner of this race has selected the midengined Acosta Starlin to be raced at South City's longest standard configuration City Long. As always there will be a public testing phase to find out possible laptimes of this combo - the RTFR server will be set with this combo after the upcoming normal RTFR race is completed. Regarding that - next normal RTFR race will be held on next tuesday,combo has been announced in broadcast of previous race,but for full details you have to wait until weekend. One day before next RTFR race the AWS will hold it's fastest race of the season - Winter 200,an oval race using FXR,signups are still open in AWS forum section!
