Hello. I have a question. How to make a second auto configuration? Buggy class. Alternative option with other tires.
I missed something and can't find the information I need.
I learned how to make the configuration of a 3D model, but I can’t find the configuration of a car in the tire prana.
It is still not possible for configurations to affect other parts of the model. At the moment configurations only apply to the mesh.

I know that configurations affect the tyres with the official GTR cars but that was a hard coded system. An editable version of that is still only a note on a list at this time.

And how is the KRT cr model made? It also seems to have two tire configurations in the buggy class.
It seems the krt cr has:

- 2 mesh configurations (named Cross and Hillclimb)
- 2 default setups (named default and Hillclimb)

1st default setup has hybrid tyres and 'Cross' configuration
2nd default setup has slick tyres and 'Hillclimb' configuration

You create a second default setup - "dup" button at bottom left in vehicle editor.

Right click to rename the new setup.

Then for that setup you select different tyres, and different configuration, that's all. Smile

Is it normal to have front upper wishbone longer than lower wishbone?
I have not reference, so i try to make it with the feelings ^^ if you have some reference, i can make it better, for sure!

On most race car the upper triangle is smaller than the lower like in your second drawing. The anchor point are usually V shaped like a hull in a boat. The main effect is to add more negative camber on compression. The opposite might exist but I don't know any example.
Sometimes you can have two similar wishbones like in your first drawing. No camber change on compression.
IRL the 3d effect with the steering linkage change wheel steering angle depending on compression usually it is unwanted effect. I don't think LFS properly get that.
