First and until this week only LX4 race in Kyoto in RTFR was in the 5th RTFR back in 2011,this tuesday LX4 returned in same configuration,just running in original direction instead of reversed. So far LX4 was the most popular cars behind GTIs and UF-cars with 16 drivers per event attendance,this weeks event gathered 2 more,boosting car's average attendace without improving position in chart.
A previous RTFR race winner under name of GaborFan joined this event and marginally set the fastest lap in qualifying,scoring his 2nd pole position,but during the race his connection was very unstable and he was spectated for safety/distractional reasons - despite being ahead of field,he kept lagging,causing unnecessary distraction to followers. Gábor was 2nd fastest at that point and took the race lead,which he never gave up,finishing 11 seconds ahead of closest rival - with this Gábor scored his 5th racewin in RTFR,moving himself 3 positions up to 18th position in all time success ranking,and scoring his 13th top5 finish. Winner's countryman Mandula finished 2nd,which is his best ever RTFR finish - improvement by 1 position,also 13th top5 finish for him. Remaining drivers in top 5 are all finns - best of them was Arska in 3rd position,9th top5 finish for another previous RTFR race winner in the field. Gemini qualified and finished in same position - 4th,in qualifying it was his best ever result,in race just a repeat of best,2nd top5 finish. Unite finished 5th,scoring his 28th top5 finish and in final lap he even stole the fastest lap of the race,which is his 10th already.
Race Green Events now is in 2 weeks vacation as next tuesday is the free one and VERL season has already ended. After this break action will return with one of the slick tyre cars,which will be penultimate race in the 2020 standings,but week later the RTFR XL 2020 season will end with final race featuring LX6 at Rockingham's ISSC Long configuration.
