Race statistics / Event rating and other statistics (will be updated later this week)

Coincidentally one week after RTFR XL race using UF1,the normal RTFR also used the same car and even used a part of XL race's track, just in reversed direction and the shorter event used the twisty and tricky part. As always low powered cars bring low gaps between cars in race,so action was there, including couple of bizzare retirements. (Regarding following discussions after that incident - the will to express the emotions after such misshap is understandable, but please keep the discussions off server chat and don't distract other drivers still racing, you can even use the event thread for sharing your experience)

Just like last week,Botsi proved his skills with UF1 and run away from competition right from the start - he led every single meter of the race. With this he increased his achievement totals to: 21st win,21st pole position,17th fastest lap of the race and 45th top5 finish. If the lead was practically a solo drive, there was a fight for 2nd place - earlier on that even led to the retirements mentioned above, later in the race there were few position shuffles before J.Pickard was able to settle in and secure the 2nd place finish - 11th top5 finish for previous UF1 race winner. Current year standings leader Fast had few position changes during the race, but at the finish he had the same number displayed to his position as in qualifying - 3rd,which is 14th top5 finish for him. Top5 was closed by 2 drivers who both advanced 3 positions during the race - Rayman finished 4th which is his best finishing position from 5 starts (previous best - 14th),he also repeated Spain's best finish position, winner of previous race Gábor finished 5th - 2nd top5 finish from 4 tries for him.

RTFR now takes 2 weeks break, after that one of the race spec cars will be used,as always more details in the weekend before it. In 3 weeks the 38th RTFR XL will take place, combo has been already submitted - FXR @ South City Town Course Reversed. Race Green Events offers another racing opportunity this week - the AWS "origins" race using FXR at Blackwood Rallycross. The very specific combo requires some preparing in terms of setting the car and practicing, but can be very rewarding if everything done right! More info and signups in AWS forum section.
