Pitting rules:

Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time,which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

This was probably the slowest season start ever - not just because the slowest LFS car was used,but also because track characteristics forced drivers to use relatively long 1st gear,meaning the initial launch will be even slower than usually. Still despite slow car on wide and fast track,some drivers had their week worth of racing action.

The combo chooser Botsi (and later in the race evening also the new WR owner) was unchallenged this tuesday - he was the fastest in qualifying and pulled away from the field constantly since the green light. With this performance he increased his achievements to 7th win and pole position and 8th fastest lap of the race,while also added 10th top5 finish. The fate of 2nd place was not decided until final lap - R.Kardol was chased hard,but he still kept his 2nd place to finish in that position. That was R.Kardol's 12th top5 finish,he's now tied for 2nd most top5 finishes with J.A.Katila. Fast had even slower start than everyone else - he dropped several positions while starting from front row,regained most of them though and finished 3rd,which is his 4th top5 finish. Mishu was the highest finisher between winless drivers - 4th overall in his 1st RTFR XL appearance,Michal finished 5th - 3 top5 finished now in his account.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
UF1 is known as the slowest car of LFS and also this race was the slowest from all 3 UF1 races - it was still faster than quite few other RTFR XL races. This race had an average speed of 113.9km/h - there have been 3 race under 100km/h mark,including 85.5km/h XRG race.

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
10.26 seconds work free pitstop and Redbot takes this mention - probably because the usual clock pitter was not attending.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
It's Redbot again - 7 positions gain was his performance as he halved his 14th position number on grid to 7th in finish.

* HONORABLE MENTION :
5th fastest lap of the race and just 12th in final results - Mandula obviously had the pace,but not for long enough. He still got his glory moment later that evening in other racing event.

The 4th year of RTFR XL has been started,next XL race as usually 4 weeks apart from this one. Between now and that race there will be 2 normal RTFR races - 1st of those next week with one of the street legal cars,more details this weekend in this forum section. RGE action does not end with just RTFR - the 9th season of AWS will reach it's middle point next week,still plenty of time for newcomers jump into action and put themselves into respectable position in table and help their team/nation on the way - more info in AWS forum section!
