Lfsworld on mobile phone
Hey there,

I have difficulty to browse Lfsworld on my phone. I guess I would need to double click on icons but that don't work on phone. At least on my phone double tap is zoom.
Login screen is OK though.
Well, as we all know, LFSW isn't designed for mobile phones so expect to have some problems when browsing it on mobile. I think Victor would need a lot of time to create a mobile version of it (like m.lfsworld.net and it would automatically detect if you are on Android, iOS etc.) - it would be cool, though!
Didn't Victor said that he plans to rework LFSW completely or even integrate into main LFS website? For some reason I recall something like that during new forum times,not sure though. If so - at some point it won't be a problem anymore...
Yes, but it sounds a little ambitious for such a small problem. It is primarily the clicking which is the problem.

The problem is that there is no support for touch events..

<img id="hosts_icon" src="desktop_images/icons/32px/hosts.gif" alt="" title="Who is online and where can I race" onmousedown="startPos('hosts', true);" onmouseup="stopPos (true);" ondblclick="winActivate ('hosts');" height="32" border="0" width="32">

Not sure if a

ontouch="winActivate ('hosts');"

and/or
ontouchend="winActivate ('hosts');"

would do the trick but I think it will.

Yes obviously I don't need a m.liveforspeed.net! I usually don't like mobile optimized website even though it could be worse with an app.
You are right having a way to click that site on the phone would be enough for me.
I've hacked basic touch support into lfsw. Not the nicest way to do it, but you should be able to tap icons and move windows at least.

It makes it so much better, thanks.

Did this change break the window moving with mouse on PC ? Shrug

At least I cannot now move the opened windows boxes with mouse like earlier by just clicking the upper gray (not active)/blueish(active) bar and dragging from it somewhere else. Tried with chrome and firefox.

Is there now some new or other method to move different windows around with mouse?
Nope I made a booboo. Fixed.
Thanks. It works on mobile now.

I see what you did there, nice enough Tongue
