I like #1 because it is more likely to keep competitors interested and filling in the final few grid positions next year

We're moving the events back further into the day to accomodate competitors needs, and qualifying is currently planned to be the weekend prior to each race at the same day and time. This of course is subject to change though.

I will put into place the points table with the most votes at poll closing though as long as it's not obvious that people are being called here to vote for a particular option
