Not really, more like BF1 or FO8 @ FE6 would fulfill that definition Wink
Quote from jkat :Not really, more like BF1 or FO8 @ FE6 would fulfill that definition Wink

and that's all you can think?

That would not fulfill definition lol.
I've raced MRTs there before... can't remember the details, but definitely MRT on that particular bit of dirt with a fair few other people. 3 gears too high was the trick, IIRC - poor man's TC Smile
Will be interesting. I remember the CESAV event with LX4. Blue flag situations bit messy, otherwise fun.
Ich bin dann auch mein erstes mal bei einem Rennen dabei Big grin

Race statistics / Event rating and other statistics (will be updated later this week)

RTFR has been sometimes a bit experimental, offering races something different. This was one of these times - a very short rallycross track and pretty demanding rear wheel drive car made a tough combo. This race went into record books for having most laps - previous most was 59.

R.Kardol also went in record books - he is the 24th driver with 3 or more RTFR racewins. He joined a bit later during qualifying, set the 3rd best time which is still good for front row in this track, then slowly advanced up to race lead, which he held for 29 last laps, with this he rounded up his top5 count to 10. The polesitter Dzidoris (his 3rd pole position) led only first 9 laps, then slipped down to 3rd position, but regained at least one position to finish 2nd,earning also his 10th top5 finish,Unite is the 3rd driver to lead this race,he even set fastest lap of the race for the first time, but 25 laps at the front were not enough,he finished 3rd,repeating his best finish in RTFR,3rd top5 finish for him. Last driver on lead lap was Sobis, who finished for the 2nd time an RTFR race, again 4th position for him,5th was J.A.Katila,finishing in top5 for the 5th race in row,19th time in total. This time also 6th place finisher is worth to mention - T.Soini, known as Mr. Steady from other series, proved his steadiness and finished 100th RTFR race,2 races after he qualified for and started a 100th race here.

Already next tuesday the 12th and final RTFR XL race of this year featuring RAC in Blackwood Historic reversed. Another week later also RTFR will have it's final race of the year with some of the pure racecars, then RTFR will go into 2 weeks long holiday and return 8th january with opening race of the year 2019. Next year will bring som€ addition$ to RTFR events, more details and official announcements during the 2 week vacation!

Good Race Rik!

Quote from lucaf :Gratz uNite (assume you got inspired by this last RTFR event)

Thanks, the track is quite fun with faster cars, but you're right, I did get inspired by this race and after doing 400 laps in 2 days with LX6 Big grin

Really slid my car too much for the race though, and Rik catching in by 2-3 tenths per lap certainly didn't help that at all, I was aiming for a victory but dzidoris and rik kept their tires in way better condition. It was a good race though, I expected a lot more contact to happen during race but good to see everyone kept it quite clean Smile

Thanks mate, did realy enjoy this one Cool

It was a nice clean race, will do more races if I can find the time

KrugeN and 13.Brunnkvist - receives a WARNING for overly agressive behaviour in 1st lap, causing multiple contacts between each other and other drivers. Similar behaviour in future will lead to race ban. The race is 30 minutes long and it cannot be won in 1st lap, only lost, this is not a rallycross race, where you get your position in 1st turn agressive move and hold it for remaining 3 laps! If you have no intention to race full distance, then please don't even start,it's just disrespectful to other drivers, who lose track position and even gain damage to their cars due your agressive driving.

The final race of 2018 was almost a sequel of VERL season - both top2 drivers of final standings were in the same positions for whole race. And the race winner did survive his unsuccessful attempt to drive on victory lane over a somewhat unsuited ramp to it.

The 3rd most successful driver of RTFR was the one to look for yesterday - Botsi took over the rights for pole position in qualifying and led every lap to finish first,he gathered up these achievements - 13th win (3rd most),12th pole position (tied 2nd most),11th fastest lap of the race (2nd most) and 26th top5 finish. Unite was able to close up on leader in later stage of the race, clocking the 16th closest finish in RTFR history, but still finished 2nd,which is his highest finishing position in this event,3rd top5 finish for him. Rony was the 3rd and last car on lead lap,77th top5 finish earned here. The competition for 4th position probably was the hottest one in this race, despite larger gaps in finish, the 4 car group had to decide between themselves the remaining 2 top5 finishes - the spanish driver Deivi was ahead of the group and after a longer break from RTFR he returned with 4th place finish, good improvement from his previous best - 8th. J.A.Katila closed up the top5,rounding up his top5 finish count to 20.

With this the year 2018 of RTFR has been concluded - next race in 3 weeks, which is 8th january, will feature road legal cars. Until then an announcement regarding slight changes in RTFR will be posted - don't worry, the racing itself will still the same.
In the 3 weeks until next RTFR Race Green Events will offer other racing - already next week the well known Xmas derby will return, more info will be posted soon. And in 1st sunday of new year AWS will be launched with traditional NewYear City Challenge as it's 1st round - full schedule is already posted in lfs.net calendar, more details during this week.

Race Green Events thanks to all racers for their support and interest into our events and wishes everyone Merry Xmas and Happy New Year! LFS

The best ever!
Official announcement
Hallo,racers!

I hope you all had a great start of the new year! Race Green Events have some great news for you - the team World Class Lions offers sponsorship to both RTFR event series for the year 2019. The sponsorship includes money prizes for the 3 best during the whole year and 5 best in each race. More details can be found in this document.

This means some small changes in both event series:
Both events will have 2019 standings in their stats spreadsheets, also prize money tracking will be added. For these standings the usual rating points system will be used - for more details about points system hover the mousepointer over the green colored title bar in the respective sheet.
Any misconducts in both events will be receive harder punishments, keeping it still under common sence judging rather than huge specialized rules set.
The normal RTFR will have less experimental combos. There will be still a fair share of custom layout racing.
The combo choice for the longer RTFR XL will be a bit more limited to avoid one man show even more (changes are already in 1st post).

The RTFR races in the new year will start in 8th january with normal RTFR race using one of the street cars (more details in the weekend),and will keep the 2 weeks gap between races as before. The 1st RTFR XL of this year will be in 29th jauary and will have 4 weeks gap between races, the combo for 25th RTFR XL has been submitted during holidays - we will have 3rd appearance of FBM,this time in Fern Bay Green reversed configuration. Full schedule has already been added in calendar of leagues section.
Thank you Rony for the announcement and accepting our sponsorship for supporting RTFR and RTFRXL series for year 2019.

We have seen during couple of past years many lfs leagues have been ramped down and vanished from leagues calender and same time many racers changing to other racing sims.

With this sponsorship action the World Class Lions team hopes to see competitive racing leagues running throughout the year to ease the waiting of next big update in lfs.

The prize money model has been build so that it gives opportunities for many individual racers to earn a few extra euros.
So be active and practise for races to gain better chances for extra earnings.
Good luck in races Smile

Nice, Rony and WCL Thumbs up

Hopefully this will increase the average number of drivers per race.
Wow!!
Good Luck , And Thanks For The League
This is pretty neat, it is very great generosity of you guys by investing money in this league. I truly hope this will attract more people. It is always nice to come by LFS Forum just to check out the results of RTFR races. Keep up the good work Rony and WCL!
