How it works:
CD league’s use a simple arrive and drive system, you are not forced to register but you may find it an advantage to register on the www.conedodgers.com forum for discussion, details of events and other information.

You must beat the target time to get the license needed to join the League’s races. You can do this during the practice times.

Any breaking of server rules will give the person an instant 12 hour ban, effectively stopping them racing that day. Serious or constant rule braking will get a longer ban including lifetime bans. Each league has its own marshals to do admin functions but there will be times when they will not be on the server, so drive fair and clean.

The system can also give automatic penalties such as points reductions, drive through. 30 or 45 second penalties. These penalties can be given for a variaty of offences from swearing to not obeying the blue flag.

In each League race a racer takes part in can earn them Skill League points, but the amount of points you can earn is dependant on how many other cars you are racing against and what their drivers Skill Level is.

At the start of a League your Skill Level points start at 0 (Zero) in the lowest Division. At each races start we take your current skill level, at the end of the race if your average score is more points than your current skill level you go up one Skill level but should your average score be less than your current skill level you go down one level.

IMPORTANT: You cannot go up or down more than one level each race so even if you score 100 points in your first race you will only go to Skill Level 1. Scoring points in the early stages can be easy but it gets much harder the higher you get.

For each driver you race against, the system compares your skill level against their skill level and calculates the points as follows:

For each Driver beat that is 2 or more skill levels higher than you score: +5
For each Driver beat that is 1 skill level higher than you score: +4
For each Driver you beat that is the same skill levels as you score: +3
For each Driver you beat that is 1 skill level lower than you score: +2
For each Driver you beat that is 2 skill levels lower than you score: +1
For each Driver you beat that is 3 or more skill levels lower than you score: 0
For each Driver who beats you that is 3 or more skill levels higher than you score: 0
For each Driver who beats you that is 2 skill levels higher than you score: -1
For each Driver who beats you that is 1 skill level higher than you score: -2
For each Driver who beats you that is the same skill levels as you score: -3
For each Driver who beats you that is 1 skill level lower than you score: -4
For each Driver who beats you that is 2 or more skill levels lower than you score: -5

There is also extra points for the number of laps in each race, a difficulty rating for the track/car combo and league rating set by admin. ConeDodgers will not be disclosing how these items are used or discussing any driver’s points or penalties.

Every 3 skill levels there are a new division, once you rise up to a higher division you can no longer go down to a lower division by just racing, even if your points drop. However CD Race control can drop racers to a lower division as a penalty.

Using !lgtop in the game will give the current leaders
Using !nearlgtop will give you 7 up and 7 down from your position.
Using !divtop will give the top of your division
Using !lgstats [Username] will give you your stats
Using !lss gives you license system status
Using !sss gives you skill system status
Using !rs will give you the race status

So to make it clear if an Alien comes onto the server and races against 24 good drivers an wins he would score 24 x 5 points (120) but would only go up one skill level

And if a good driver races against 24 beginners, and came last he would still drop only one skill level.

At the end of the league the results will be announced on www.conedodgers.com

In the case of a tie as the system records the number of race starts, number of race finished, the total of race points earned along with the number of yellow flags caused for each racer these items will be used to decide the winner.

CD Admin will have the final say and as normal any arguing with CD Admin gets any driver an instant ban and removal from the league

Our normal rules apply but as there will be a number of races each day any complaint must have a replay and full time details to even be looked at.

Best of luck
