The online racing simulator
Yep, I broke it. It should be back now. I have to figure out what I did!

Did the X-System restart itself in the 16 seconds between his and the 2nd placed driver's finish? That would be the explanation, I think. Already saw that 2 or 3 times.
Yep I think that's probably what happened. The X-System did restart itself earlier. Unfortunately there's absolutely nothing that can be done in such a situation. The software, when it does fall over (and it's pretty rare these days, I think, but I'm still bug hunting) typically restarts within around 10 seconds. I was racing earlier on when the system crashed - thinking about it, I reckon it was this same occasion, actually - and the InSim sector markers disappeared and reappeared within 5 seconds. It's just really bad luck when the problem occurs during a race finish.

hum............ system crashed twice in 15 minutes. Something wrong or you updating ??.
Bump and jump started giving random errors, and then a MySQL error. It's restarted itself now though...

Cheers for that.. MySQL issues. I'm not sure where the issues are originating from. It may be the X-System or it could be something else connecting to MySQL on the UKCT box. I'm on it

[edit] All looks well.. we think it was a glitch caused by low disk space and a couple of other problems, all solved.
There seems to be a problem with SS1, it is stuck changing tracks and not starting the race.
Our new remote backup system appears to have been the culprit. We'll make sure it's throttled by tomorrow night, when it runs again
Track just changed after 3 races Bug?
Yeah, the X-System fell over and restarted. When it restarts, it doesn't know how long it's supposed to be before the next track change, so it assumes 30 minutes.

We're running a version at the moment that's a little under tested, but was needed to fix an urgent known issue. It seems there's a problem somewhere in the system because it's falling down once or twice per day at the moment. I'll figure it out ASAP.
I always knew we were just beta testers
Of course! Like LFS, the X-System won't be finished until it's done

We've introduced a few nice features recently, like the teams messaging and the ability to report on the current race, but there's lots more to be done before X-2 is released
Promises, promises......

Still curious though. The already infamous even system?
Yep, leagues and events (and other things too). I'd describe the features, but we're still adding to them. X2 doesn't replace the X-System. Its features are entirely different and the purpose of X2 is to extend the CTRA central system beyond just public pick-up racing.

The intention is to help to support any and all existing and future LFS leagues that wish to participate in the programme. There's not much more I can say on it at the moment, because a lot of what we want to do, we haven't yet plotted out the best way to do.. but we will. All I can say at this stage is that it'll be good, and it'll be free
FREE!? Who's gonna fund my Macbook Pro now?!...

XML Erro
When I clicked on servers this comes up. This appears to be the only thing effected from an outside look around. Hope I'm posting on the correct thread.
