Well what a crash (div 2 race 2)! Before people start throwing abuse around i suggest everyone takes time out to watch the replay!

Otherwise race 1 (div2) was ace! Race 2 was boring for me, i didnt see anyone for 10 laps or so. My car was well mashed up!

well - it was bedlam...

looking at it the top 6 all came together in some point of view....

i wasup to 7th and then the guys in front of me were all broadside meanning nowhere to go......

just racing, however at the hairpin, it looks like Macset was out of the corner and then went on the brake which triggered a second crash, ruinning a few other peoples race.

anyway - i would not like to rule on this one......

yeah looks like ZWR team were proper unlucky in "THE CRASH" i couldnt do anything guys sorry i now know how a pinball feels!
Yeah, race 2 lap 1 was shite. In the replay I saw you getting crashed pretty badly, but I've emailed my protest already, so I won't talk about it.
Race 1 was nice, didn't expect Kev to block me immediately like that, but it surely kept me from getting p1. After that I had serious trouble with my car, but after I changed my front ARB I was back on track. After a few laps I closed in again on Kev, got in his tow, enjoyed the whole oval in his tow and attacked in T1 (I did the same overtaking move with K. Doughty), and I succeeded.

In race 2 my steering wheel was 30 degrees off after the turn 1 and 2 massacre, so I had to adjust myself. after 3 laps I was used to it and started to gain ground again on atesz and K Doughty, overtook them, and finished 4th.

Pretty sucky race, but lets hope round 5 goes better

Bah, what an awfull race for me

Been busy all week didn't have time to practice much. And then in quali my PC freezes -no time in qualifying. Then in race 1 after the first corner I remember that I didn't change my quali set to race setup and I didn't take the race fuel either. So a pitstop was a must and after that I never saw anyone else. Driving alone the whole 12 laps. Race 2 pretty Ok although that was pretty much hotlapping from start to end too. Can't wait for next week, Blackwood GP rev! I love that track

At the lag start I blocked you quite easily, but you got off the line faster in the race start so I had to chop you a bit!

I used Biggie's Inferno set for quali which worked out OK and just scraped me into pole, but my race set was useless. I didn't even have the brakes set up properly so the fronts were locking up at full pressure, which took me off into the gravel on lap... 3 or 4, after the 2nd split. Then the next lap I rolled it trying to make up for lost time. Blergh! The front right was getting torched, it wouldn't have run the whole race anyway.

PC froze at the start of qual and missed 10minutes, so only had a few laps and didn't do very well in traffic.

Had a fair share of knocks and gave some back in the races, turn 1 race 2 was mayhem, so much lag it wasn't funny car's flying everywhere I barely made my way through the tangled mess. Didn't end up in the points this week, dunno why I bothered to show up with only an hours practice before the race. Just couldn't find time for the little xfr, got some other leagues that took priority this week.

Hoping to be back on form next week for the finale.

kev I used biggies set with R3s on the front and it wasn;t too bad. Guys in Div 1 where running R2s! Dunno how since R3s were getting into the red wheh pushing hard.

Way to punch me in the gut d00d!
Nah, was a good move.

Used the same set, just put some more pressure on the front tyres and used R2's. They got red, but I think I drove better with those then I would with R3's.

LOL -we know mate this is racing and unfortunately sometimes it happens...

Got to apologise and say thanksto everyone in race 1 div 2 on lap 6 or 7th.....

At turn one my team mate collided (cardinal sin) as we entered turn one, the shock of the ffb did something to my wheel and it lost all control. The car went to the first hairpin and stopped just off the line, I was powerless to do anything, i had to get up and outta my seat, reconnect my usd wheel and keyboard and wait to reset. I then was releived that 14 people had passed me without hitting me -goor driving all

trouble is i had a problem with that the wheel calibrated in itsoff centre position so i too like Mike was driving for over half a race with a wheel off centre trying to drive quickly.... lol

hehe, I don't mind some chopping dude, I enjoy a good fight

Nah, was a good move.

Hehe, It was the only way I could overtake you. If I would've overtaken you immediately you would catch me back in no time, so I had to stick behind you until t1.

Nah fair play mate, i do enjoy a good slip battle myself

lol i had the same little slip battle with John holme for about 6 laps in race 1!
Quote from Davo :kev I used biggies set with R3s on the front and it wasn;t too bad. Guys in Div 1 where running R2s! Dunno how since R3s were getting into the red wheh pushing hard.

I was using R2s in the Div1 race, and they were really consistant and i didnt have a problem. I have to admit that the setup was absolutely beautiful, the fact that Bawbag was literally smashing the WR time most laps just goes to show that. He'd sent me a Qual and a Race setup about 45min before qualifying started, and i managed to do 5-6 laps and had to keep telling him i was running the qual set because he didnt think it could be as they were still in perfect condition.
It was a delight to drive it, it was capable of stepping out unlike a version pecker had made which is a great newbie setup i'd say, definately lets you get away with a bit more as you find your feet. Baggies would step out on the odd corner but as long as you countered it and eased off if need be you'd be fine, and that sweeping corner before the 2nd sector split, simply awesome! It just held so well, far better than i was having beforehand, cornering and exit speeds were much higher, mid-corner i was doing close to my exit speed before then.

I dont know what made it special, but to me that setup was dialed. It made me much faster than i thought i could be round there, a good 0.75sec faster, and my PB lap was done on the last lap of race 2, having had a bit of a scrap for the position the 2-3 laps previous where i was out of shape a few times, so still being able to put in a PB after that is a testiment to just how much it helps to have a setup that really does work well. 100 laps round there in 3 days helps too, but other than that i dont think ive driven round there in anything before then.

Just wish i didnt screw up both races on the same corner and both opening laps too , first race clipped the inside of the corner after the 1st split, just caught it before it went too far but got a little damage, then screwed it up again a few laps later just as i was catching the tail end of the pack. 2nd race just a stupid mistake, too busy being concerned about the 2 cars alongside me and ran out of road on the outside as the track kinks into the damn corner that almost rolled me first race. Good race, but would have been better had it not been spoiled by my own stupidity
Hello racers

I´m with some problems in my connection so i couldn´t race yesterday.. ..going dooowwwwnnnnn in the championship..:static: :worried:
First I think I have to apologize; I've had no time at all to train this track, never driven a single lap before qualification.
BUT
I have to thank Dru for showing me the track in sports moderator style (he didn't breathe for a complete lap!! "go here third, second then, apex late, throttle up to 4th, take corner at xxxkp/h, slow down here......") and showed me where to be careful. Also Dru, Mike and Reintjan have made an unbelievably fast and well-controllable set in their hours of training... real nice work, lads! Thanks!

All in all there were 2 nice races yesterday, I hope I didn't hurt anyone (though I was drifting dangerously from time to time) and I received some points! WOW!

Gratz to all of you!

Hmmm, judging by your past performances though, even if you're slow, you'll still be faster than me. Although, consistancy seems to be the points winner for me in this series.
