Traffic Lemans is made to give you an event which calls for your driving skills.

Various car classes will result in lots of traffic on the racetrack.

15 teams is needed for this event
These are the cars available:

2 UF 1000
2 XF GTI
2 XR GT
2 XR GT TURBO
2 FXO TURBO
2 RB4 GT
3 GTR CARS (UFR AND XFR)

If more than 15 teams apply, we will choose 10 teams by hotlaps from www.lfsworld.net
5 teams will be choosen by random choise. This way every one has a fair chance of being part of this event.

1 week before race, there will be a 1 hour qualify.

Qualify is scheduled to start at friday september 30 2005. 20:00 GMT.

The race will be timed for 12 hours. The track will be Aston Grand Prix.

The starting grid will be as people qualify.
Race is scheduled to start at saturday october 8 2005. 20:00 GMT.

How to complete:

To complete Traffic Lemans your car has to be on our server during all 24 hours. If you get disconnected you are out, and you may NOT reconnect.
Using shift+S to get into garage/pit is allso not allowed. Your car MUST race none stop for 24 hours.
The winning car will be the one who has driven most laps in 24 hours.
In order to complete this event, your car must pass the finish line when the race ends.
If your car gets damaged, runs out of fuel, gets trapped in the sand or for any other reason can't continue, you get disqualified. ( it IS allowed though, to get help from some friendly opponent. )
If another player tries to help you to get out of the sand, it is at hes/her own risk.
It is allowed to use the ignition ( i-key ) to get to the pits if you are out of fuel.


There will be winners of each class, and an over all winner.

The server:

The server will be open for 23 connections devided in:
15 slots for the cars
1 slot for an admin
7 slots for driverchanging.
Spectating is NOT allowed. Players may only join the server to change driver.

How to hand over the car:

Teams will schedule stints on there own. lfs-lemans.com will not take part of this.
As there is only 7 connectionslots available for driver changing, lfs-lemans.com suggests players to use Teamspeak or Ventrilo to arrange the car handover during the race.

Misc:

Chatting and use of horn during race is not allowed. ( request for driverchange is ok ).
Players may not block messages. In case admin needs to tell you something.
If you for some reason are unable to finish the race, you have to leave the server.

During race please close all other programs for best performance.
( MSN, Skype, IRC, Winamp, any p2p program etc. )

When teams starts to sign up, applicant teams will be listed at www.lfs-lemans.com
