Yeah you're probably right to be honest, if only there was a solution to this, so that people who wanna share can share and people who don't want to will have that right to say no and that being the end of it. I honestly can't think of another way, other than keeping it the way it is now.

Okay so there is a huge argument about having 'mandatory setup share' people want the option where as other don't, here's a bit of bad Photoshopping, basically just an idea, one of mine if anything..

Picture one : Having an 'Setup share' option in your main lfs options giving the account holder the choice whether to share the set with other players in-game or not, turning this option on will allow other players who are in the server to download the set.

Picture two : Another bad photoshopped picture with what the interface 'Could' look like if the devs decide to sort the setup sharing problem out, as i said this is just a quick photoshop and an idea, but i think something like this would half settle the problem if not solve it completely, because at least then if someone wants to have a certain set they can download it in the connection list..

I Approve this message! all that hard work and effort put into a set just for it to be flushed away? what a stupid idea, i think keeping the 'send set' option is possibly the best, and i don't think many people would agree with the whole idea of people being able to just save any set they want just because they can't make their own, people should have a choice whether they want to share their set or not.

Nah not at all, most of my textures load pretty well no problems etc and none of them are as high res as Lynce's fern bay textures, it's only started doing it since i updated, i was talking to a few others when i managed to connect to a server etc, they were talking about exactly the same problem as i had, pretty weird!

Finding it really hard to join / stay connected to a server after installing the new update, I'm getting the same error as Litro above. ive also noticed that the game seems to freeze on the loading screen for skins download, i'm also getting this error A LOT + 'Did not receive ok', this has never happened to me before so i'm guessing it's something to do with the update.

Anyone else getting a 'TIMER BOUNDED' error + Really bad lag after installing the new update? me & a few others seem to be getting the same. & occasionally freezes then crashes?

Before you ask yes, my computer is fine but, this has only been happening since installing the new update

Fairly sorry about that, i type too fast for my own good, which is partly why i make a few small Mistakes, no need to be pedantic.

I myself am getting rather impatient waiting for this so called S3, least they could do is give us a bit of info of what actually is going on, is lfs really dead? or have they ran out of money to continue the progress of lfs? we don't know because we rarely get any information given to us, if we do it's mostly small updates. it does not take this long to release something that could of been released few years ago, as much as the development side of things go i'd say its pretty slim we will be seeing S3 for awhile.

Hmm ive not seen many decent ones, the only suggestion i can make is
convert an XRT one to XRG if all being okay with permission from the owners, even so you might have to tweak it a bit in order for it to fit perfectly.
