The only way, as I think, is to compile the program on your hardware. The only thing you need is: Visual Basic Express (downloadable at microsoft homepage for free), to load the project into VSexpress and built it.(something like that "F:\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects") You will find the new revlimiter.exe at a place like this "F:\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\Neuer Ordner\RevLimiter\bin\Release"
then it should work for everyone who compiles it self. have fun with that
If you think the bouncing should be faster, increase the low values more close to thhe high values. The high values should be below the maximum value, because cutting the ignition takes alot of time to be save.
Change the bouncetimer if the engine doesnt restart automatically
20 ms worked for me on a 3200MHz mashine
E: Doesnt really work well because the VB timings differ from PC to PC
Question how can i drive the Timer dependent from CPU-Speed?

Hello, I tried 3.0 OG and non OG on my 1.3gHz DualCore.
OG did work with stalling (more or less due to bounce limiter settings).
Did you use comparision (<=;>=) of values or equality of values (==)? To me it looks like it turns the engine off, if RPM == turn_off_value and turns the engine on again, if RPM == turn_on_value. (equality) if i rev the engine to 8000RPM (FZR) and release the throttle it doesnt restart the engine at 7600RPM.
And what about a calculation of the limiter time by number of cores and CPU speeds?
Hope this helps
Hubert
Edit: The non OG version didnt work: car was recognized correctly but it didnt get the RPM-values
Well, I know its not NEEDED, but it would be cool like the flag close to your name in the forum. And the major part of the job can be done by the community (posting licence templates and stuff) when i see cars with british plates but with steering wheel on the left - its just wrong - just a suggestion
thats a mod which only works for EU plates and only for XR Cars (dont like mods at all)
and i dont want to change my plate I WANT THEM ALL TO BE CHANGED lol
Hello, i have a "not-so-important" suggestion which i didn't find in this forum.
After i saw the new number plate for XR cars (EU style with GB pattern), i thougt we might be able to change the country-style (easy for EU plates but bit harder for other countries)
that means size, background colour, font type to get nearly realistic (nonbritish) plates.
Hello I had a Problem with Z4 and now Z9 too. It seems to happen spontanousely. LFS is running in fullscreen mode and minimizes. The monitor LED changes to red and then green again -> Desktop appeares.
mostly on practice sessions on multiplayer always XRG
USB H-gate shifter
USB Saitek r100 Wheel
Gameport MS Sidewinder FF Wheel
my PC:
Athlon 2400+
Geforce4 ti 4800SE
1,5GB Ram (three different 512Mb)
(where can i find the graphic driver?)
the error stayd and first i could use FFB while listening to music (winamp) so i could use ffb but if i start the game or leave it with Windows-logo button i have to reset it again
now on y22 the error sounds different but when i click at /on the the button below the activate FFB (is anything with zone) often, ffb works after the 5 to 20th click!
dunno why i just excite FFB
edit: sound card didnt solve the problem! there it was the same and with a different mainboard too!
2nd edit:my car has a 12 year old wheel and it always worked well, best ffb ever experienced
Hello!!
I've been playing LFS for more than half a year wit different types of controllers (keyboard, mouse, joystick, 2- and now a three-pedal-wheel). I want it realistic, and now I've to learn HnT.
Can someone give me some tips (because in real life i want to go save not fast so i don't have to HnT)
- is it okay if the engine revs up when hitting gas while HnT?
-do I have to shift down at first and start braking afterwards?
- my pb on XRG BL1 is 1:35:98(with Heel'n'Toe, without it was 1:36:16!)
please explain that a dummy can understand it
Thank You!

edit: i am trainig with the EASY RACE or BSP setups and 3-5% Intake restriction with 10AI in single player mode - does this effect brakepoints very much?
