Not an LFS issue, a $50-100 computer from Facebook Marketplace/Gumtree/Craigslist will be able to run it.

Any computer made in the past decade will run it fine, anyone who will complain needs to upgrade their PC. There's PCs on Facebook Marketplace for $50-100 that will run this game for many years to come.

S3 is worth it for the mods alone

But also Scawen has said repeatedly that LFS on Steam would've work with his development infrastructure and how he develops the game, which is understandable and fair enough. There's pros and cons to be sides of the argument with no easy answer either way.

It's not really the amount of mods that's the issue, it's the lack of filters and sorting in the mod menu.

Agreed, the main mod menu isn't functional when the servers aren't working.
