As usual, setup makers don't want to share to everyone and leechers try to force them do to it...

Making a good setup is a lot of work. You can work for free if you want to, but it's a right not to do so...

We must keep things as they are and leave the author of a setup the choice to share or not.

If you can't find a good setup, maybe you could do what we did : learn how to make it. And stop whining.

But honestly, it doesn't look like a progress report. The content is still the same since 1 year : "Working on the tyre model, Scirocco and Rockingham almost finished".

It sounds more like an attempt to gain some more time before players start trying to find another game and stop LFS.

IMO, the best thing you could do would be to make a patch with a bit of new content (like Z28), which would give you a bit more time before customers get bored again...

It's looking more and more like you're taking the same way as GT5, I mean Sony has had a really bad communication and didn't take care about customers' applications. The result is that for the players, the final game is a disappointment. But the difference between LFS devs and Sony is that if the new patch is considered bad by the players, I don't think the game will survive...

LFS has a community of players that supports its devs, but if they start to think they have been cheated, it could become the beginning of the end.

The error message doesn't appear anymore, but i still get disconnected

If my memory is good, the message is "out of xxxx (don't remeber what) space"

Hi everybody,

I have a problem since I installed Windows 7 on my computer.
While playing on a server with more than 30 connections, i often get disconnected with no apparent reason.
The low left corner diagram shows that my connection is getting lost (it goes up to the red part) but i still see other cars and they can still see me too (no lag).
LFS sometimes displays an error, but i don't remember what it says, as i didn't see it for a while...

I'm running Win 7 x86 pro.


Hope anybody can help me, I was forced to surrender the ITCC because of that.

I think admin should really do something, I don't know what and I know it's hard, but we really need it. It becomes almost impossible to do a clean race!

I can't imagine that standard of driving for the next round on SO...

Anyway those 3 races were the worst i ever made since I'm playing LFS, i'll work harder for next round, and I hope everybody will do the same

I didn't think people could like that much the video we worked on

We worked hard on drifting performances, but mike really made an unbelievable work on the video montage, our drifts are nothing compared to the quality of it!
