If you look objectively, a huge traffic jam in London or the M25 (circular motorway around London) that recurs every day is proof that humans aren't able to cooperate in a sensible way. Of course, that's easy for me because I'm fortunate enough to live in a country where this is possible, but the majority of people are still queuing up every workday behind each other on the road.

But on this topic, cars have given/brought us so much. But we're getting super lazy and indeed are excessively using them. People rather get in their car for a 5 min walk, or go to the gym even.

I would call myself a car enthusiast, but they don't make it fun with all costs and I hate traffic jams, and I like riding on my bicycle so that helps. I only use it for vacation and other trips that are too far or inpractical by bike. Our infrastructure is perfect for it, but people are generally lazy.

If I look at The Netherlands (99% of it), and other big cities in Europe like London, Paris, Stockholm, to name a few, the infrastructure is pretty good overall, I think. Over here using a stroller, bike, or whatever is no problem at all. Especially big cities like Amsterdam are trying to get rid of cars in the center. Driving a car there is a small nightmare, and getting around by bike, public transport, or walking are much easier in general.

You can view what the erorr of the BSOD was with some software. Check what the message was to get an indication of what might have caused it.

Not sure if someone else has mentioned it, but the moving objects also do not change the shadow of the vehicle. No big issue obviously, but I understand if this is currently not possible/difficult in the current graphics system.

Nothing to be annoyed about. Buy an Xbox with game pass ultimate and you've got the best of both worlds combined with a PC. The only annoying thing is that R$ games don't support Xbox Play Anywhere so you have to buy twice and no synced savegames.

Good chance the PC port will be a year at least, or even longer like with GTA V.

Just wanted to chime in on the update for bikes. It feels amazing now compared to D44. I can actually do a few laps without falling in every corner.

Now I get super 'scary' stoppies under braking and some drifting that's actually recoverable. So yeah, I really enjoy riding a bike now. The 'horizon' locked view is also insane, feels like VR almost.

I was just wondering; can we separate the views for cars now? I like the horizon lock on bikes, but I don't like it that much in cars. And I can't always position the driver enough backwards to get the cockpit in view a bit with the speedo. Like with the FoV slider, seems like all vehicles are in the same type of view.

Yeah that would also be a welcome update. On my PC I have no trouble with it at all, but on my laptop which is roughly just above 60FPS the hiccups are certainly noticeable.

Something I was wondering because of the dashboard possibilities; is it possible right now to have uneven steps between the speedo? For example, in my car, the first few steps are 10km/h, then go to 20km/h, and in some cars the steps even increase with 30 or 40 in the end.

For example a Golf 6 speedo here.

I'm not familiar with modding, so sorry if this is possible already, I was just wondering, might increase the realism a little for speedos.

I've visited them a while back and tried some of their car, boat and F1 sims. Good stuff, they also had smell as a dimension in one of them. Can't say it felt as good as LFS at the time, but haven't tried since.
