Ingame car viewer functionality
The car viewer in garage menu is a great addition, however there is two things i am missing in comparison to the old CMX viewer
- Top view button (which seems like a relatively simple thing to add)
- Ability to view helmets

check that folder isn't set to read-only

i'd recommend the weekly MRc FBM Saturday and Fragmaster's GTi Thursday as good places to start, they use low-powered cars you might be familiar with from demo.
make sure to get a setup and do some practice before the race to familiarize yourself with the combo.

I feel it's a bit pointless to think about really, all we can do is to wait for the updates that are currently being developed.

i'm interested in what you mean by better online support though, I know that there's been some server hiccups and car-to car contact is pretty bad, but aside from that, LFS' online system is very good from my POV.

licensed pickup racing is pretty much dead unfortunately, but you can still try some of the weekly races like MRc FBM saturday, or FM fox friday/GTi thursday, maybe you'll come across some familiar faces
there's other events like race green's stuff on tuesdays or cesav, french league etc, though they make much heavier use of S3 content.

my bad, i took your suggestion, and i see you mentioning a fix a month ago, no ETA yet though i guess?
maybe it's common knowledge to restart servers every 49 days then, since from what i understand it's not a new (found some posts from 2006) issue. This part is purely anecdotal, and but i don't recall it being this prevalent until 7E release, so i wonder if some things changed with that...
is there any fix on the way for that?
