When is the sign-in for round 6 gonna be posted?
On Saturday
Regarding this front and back plates thingy.. on the FXR there is so small space to place the plate at. Would it be allowed to use the IGTC logo and the number apart from eachother? See attachment for details.

Got no idea on your question, but That Sir, is 1 Nice looking Skin!
Yup. thats fine
Ok thanks!

I havent made that skin tho, all creds to Dimo for it!
What are the weather and wind settings used for the races ?

I found nothing about that in the rules
All races have been in normal daylight/no wind condition so far.
Yeah, thats how they all are. Next season I will try and make the conditions for each race the same as it is in the RL locations for each track.
OK, thanks for the answers
LOTF #1, #2 will be attending.... oh wait... wrong thread?
Quote from BenjiMC :Any questions are to be asked here, you must also clarrify these questions.

Do you all know your teams number?
Do you all have the Password and server name for the race?
Do you all have your skins prepared with the IGTC plate?
Are you all aware on how the event will commence?

If you dont know any of these or dont have any of these, please tell me. If all is clear then post here and tell me so.

Hope to see you'se all racing on the day!

Good Luck to all!

I would like to know, if bumperdrafting is allowed on the oval, next time

I certainly do not consider that racing, and I will not participate, if that`s allowed
I feel confident you are already working on this; however:

Will rules be implemented on what to do in case of catastrophic server failure in the future?

At one point, an admin had stated that if a crash occurred mid-race, the race would be moved to the next weekend. We almost ran into issues after the crash, keeping our teamates informed.

Also, apologies from LOTF to the SR team, who appeared to loose 2 spots before the start of the 3 hour race. We have never had server failures like that before, and we are working with our Server host provider to try and identify what went wrong.
Sorry but I have a question about the new rules:

Quote :G - 2.1) During a driver change, the incoming driver may only join the server once the team car is on its in-lap

I thought we said that it would be 2 laps for the Oval race ?
One lap is way too short on this track IMO.

Ah, yes. Thanks for catching that.

Round 7 Rules Revisions thread has been updated with a post on special oval rules. I'm not incorporating these into the final rules because it seems likely at this point that there will be no oval race next season.
How about teams/cars use their alarm indicator ( Num 8 ):

ON = to bump daft is ok with me.

OFF = NO bump drafting with me pls..

Thanks for that. Good advice. I'd advise that teams do this.
This next event - Aston North - is on the 20th October. My fellow cows are coming to my house that day and we're planning to do the race here. We'd be doing it on one PC with one LFS account, is that alright? (We'd change the racername at driver changes)
Yes thats okay. We just need to know when you change over sosince you have that sorted it's fine.
Um, one for the US here:

18:00 Qual = 2:00 PM EDT

I'm fairly sure.
yes, afaik it is.
IGTC rule no.6 :
"Drivers must remain between the pit exit lines when exiting the pits, under all circumstances."

Are you still "between" the yellow line when you touch them but not fully cross them? What about the pit entrance?
We´d like to have some general rule clarification pls.

As for the IGTC AS7 track layout:

It´s a very tricky pit exit.

I dont like the tyres at pit exit. One of them is positioned on the yellow line and additionally if a car hits these tyres there is a slight chance for the tyres to end on the racing track.
I´d rather see 2 or 3 wall-units there. They should be placed right on the yellow pit exit lines so that it would be impossible to get a penalty at the pit exits.
