August 25th - Blackwood GP Reverse - XFG/XRG 50laps
September 8th - Aston North Reverse - TBO 35 laps
September 22nd - Westhill International - XFR/UFR 50laps
October 6th - Fern Bay Green Reverse - LRF 50laps
October 20th - Kyoto Ring National Reverse - GTR - 50laps
November 3rd - Aston Grand Touring Reverse - FOX 35laps
November 17th - Kyoto Ring Long - F08 45laps

Time
The start time for each round will be at 20UTC, if not you will be notified.

We will have 48 teams, 96 drivers, 3 servers The team manager from each team will pick 2 of there drivers for each round. They will need to announce the chosen driver on the Wednesday before the event in the thread provided. no driver swaps

Grid/server Sorting
At 20UTC on the Event day Teams/drivers will joined there designated Qualifying server and complete a 20minute Qualifying Session.
At the end of the session drivers will check the LFS Tracker site (link will be posted in Supp Regs Thread).
If it shows your name under you must then join the following server
Grid 1 = Battle Of The Teams #1
Grid 2 = Battle Of The Teams #2
Grid 3 = Battle Of The Teams #3
Drivers will then join there new designated server.
From there the server admins will order the grid for the start of the race.
depending on the qualifying results 1 team driver can be in server #1 and other team driver in server #2[/i]

Tribunal System FAQ
What is the time frame for drivers to submit a complaints?
Drivers have 48hours to submit a complaint.

What is the time frame for the Tribunal Result
The Result of the complaint will be done in 2-3 days

How much tribunal judges are needed for a decision?
2 - 3

How are the results made?
All judge reviews the situation several times from different perspectives they all writes how they see the situation out of his point of view. Then after his small report of what actualy happened and whethere a penalty or no penalty should be given. Then they all come to a conclusion then it is posted on the LFS Forum.

How do i view the Tribunal Results?
Results of the complaints will be displayed in LFSforum "Battle Of The Teams" Subsection
with the thread name "Round x Tribunal Results" as a locked thread.

how come both storys are not heard?
The decision is made by the different tribal judges a objective decision is made based on the facts as seen in the replay.
both parties are not heard because of the time constraint in which we are working.

How Do i Submit Complaints?
Can be submitted from the BOTT website
www.battleoftheteams.net

Under "user menu" Submit incident complaint".
Complete the form, it will than be handed over to the Tribunal Judges for the verdict.

Disconnection If you disconnect or lose connection you are unable to rejoin the race.
All DNF or Loss of Connection are placed behind all finishers. If there are a number of non finishes it will be ordered by the number of laps completed then by the server#
Example: Player 1 DNF lap 2 (server #1), Player 2 DNF lap 2 (Server#2). Player 1 will finish above Player 2.
You must cross finish line to receive points
The password will be changed once the race has started so you will be unable to rejoin.

Connection/LagBefore you launch LFS please ensure all the unnecessary programs are closed.
Lag will not be used as a excuse for racing incidents
Example: music, instant web messaging, emails, internet explorer,

Race Restarts
There will be no Restarts. Unless there is a serious problem with the server or grid spots
Pit LaneSpeeding in Pit Lane will result in a automatic drive through penalty.
Enter Pit lane and exit in a safe manor. you Must stay between the yellow lines when exiting pit lane. It is recommended you do the same entering pit lane.
You may not start the race from pit lane

Flags
  • Yellow Flag: Caution Crash ahead, avoid overtaking until track is clear.
  • Blue Flag: Drivers that are a lap down or receive the blue flag. Will need to move off the race line for the car behind. The lead car should not have lost any time. When passing. avoid erratic movements.
Racing Conduct
Drivers must overtake in a safe and respectful manner. Drivers should have at least a half-car overlap on another car before committing to an overtaking maneuver.

When overtaking and defending, a driver must give racing room to the attacking car in order to account for lag, brake lockups, understeer, over steer.

Driver may change there race line to defend, once then return to race line. Continuous line changing is not allowed when defending

Bump Drafting in Racing is allowed, providing it is done in a safe manor.

Multi car RacingOnce you leave the pits in Offical Qualifying you must stay with that car till the end of the event.
If you change cars during the event you will be disqualified.

Qualifying In Qualifying any form of contact is not allowed, eg Bumpdrafting

Track Cutting
Outside of Corner:
2wheels in grass: Is fine providing there was no time advantage and you rejoin the circuit safely.
4wheels in grass: Is fine providing there was no time advantage and you rejoin the circuit safely.

Inside of Corner:
2wheels in grass: could possibly be given a penalties if there is a time advantage and is used consistently
4 wheels in the grass: Will result in a penalty, as it is shortening the track and giving time advantage which is unfair to other competitiors
If you Cut the track because of driver error ect. Attempt to slow down and rejoin the track safely.
Curbs, ripple strips, bitumen are allowed to be used

Resets, Shift + P (telepit), Spectating and joining
Qualifying: Allowed
Race: strictly not allowed in Race
If your race is over please leave the server

ChattingPractise: Chatting is allowed.
Qualifying: Chatting is allowed but should be kept to a minimum.
Grid Sorting: Race: Chatting is not allowed. unless very important.
