Season 2 Sporting Rules
Here are the sporting rules of the Nations World League.

Fairness
  1. The on-track behaviour complies with the Rules of Clean Racing.
  2. Protests and appeals can be filed in the corresponding thread until Tuesday 19:00 UTC after the race.
  3. If a driver is found guilty, penalty points are imposed on his/her national team. The penalty points are deducted from the national team's score by a factor 12 (or 24 for actions in the final race). Further sanctions apply to a national team accumulating points as follows: 8 points - All cars start the next race from last grid position. 14 points - All cars start the next race from pit lane. 20 points - National team excluded from participation in the next event.
Course of events
  1. The events start as it is stated in schedule. Times are given in coordinated universal time, UTC.
  2. Qualifying is an open 15 minute qualifying practice session. There are no restrictions.
  3. Tourist Trophy is an autocross session scheduled for a race distance, where all drivers drive the distance individually. The starting order is derived from championship standings and alphabetical order of the national teams. All driver of a national team will be sent on track one after another.
  4. Race is a race session started by a standing start. The starting order is given by the result of the previous session.
  5. During the races rejoining is allowed at any time. However it is under all circumstances penelised by the loss of one lap.
Scoring
  1. The national team scoring the most points is the Nations World League champion. There are two ways to score points:
  2. A-Points: The second car of a national team, crossing the finish line, scores the points for the Nation in the order of nations fulfilling this:
    1st - 40 points

    4th - 34
    5th - 32
    6th - 30
    7th - 28
    8th - 26
    9th - 24
    10th - 22
    11th - 20
    12th - 18
    13th - 16
    14th - 14
    15th - 12
    16th - 10

  3. B-Points: Bonus points are awarded for the finishing position of every car of a national team according to the race result.

    4th - 7
    5th - 6
    6th - 5
    7th - 4
    8th - 3
    9th - 2
    10th - 1

  4. To score A- and/or B-Points the driver must have completed 75% of the scheduled race distance.
  5. Should a nation with multiple national teams be represented by just one driver per team at a race event, the combined result of the drivers will be scored towards the team with more championship points.
  6. A-Points and B-Points are both multiplied by the multiplier stated in the schedule.
  7. In case of a tie, the better average position is the primary tie-breaker, the better position is the secondary.
