Anyone willing to share a good race setup maybe? Smile I just found an old scipy set but since there are some different corners on new Westhill it doesn't really work well, also in terms of gearing...
There was really interesting safety car action Big grin

"J.Katilla took the wrong route"

and the escorting stuff. Wonder what was that...
Haha cattila style Tongue xDdd
Well, that was a weak race for me - despite no practice at all (these were even my first laps in WE2 ever),visitors at my place meaning 0 preperation for race, few mistakes in first laps and some random allrounder setup,I got in quite decent position (4th) later in race, but then I catched grass entering T2,wrecked car, barely crawled back to pits, lost 3 laps - after winning 2 races in 2 days, the streak had to come to end in very dissapointing way.
Seems like my best 2 rounds in this one are complete,I don't expect anything good in next 2 for me...

Same went for me but the other way round.. no wins whatsoever in recent races(years Big grin). Setup was great(Thanks vitaly senpai!), tires and fuel were perfect , was in decent position (4th) and was catching P3... but then.. clipped the grass sligtly entering T2 and car ''exploded"... hit the wall at like 200+ kph car was way too damaged plus i was stuck in the gravel... Sadly that was like 12th lap :/ Well shit happens i guess Big grin
See you all in two weeks on the 1st(?) ever karting league race! Smile Big grin

I can imagine how that feels.. had the same situation in the Vires Championship where I retired in both races I took part.

Well my result was very satisfying for me because I finished in 3rd position after the aliens Vitaly and Adam. Razz All in all it was a very good and fun race and I really loved the starting system in F1 style with one pace lap and then standing start again.
Btw did you notice my fail when i was just behind you ? Big grin :P
Of course, I was about to let you pass in that lap on the straight because I knew defending my position would have resulted in either a crash or overheated tyres, but then suddenly I saw in my mirrors that you spun.Schwitz

Actually, it was me that took the wrong route. I was trying to use the access roads around the track to get around to the other side of the track, but when I followed the access road I went on towards the national course and it spectated me Big grin

Had we had another admin we would have deployed the Safety Car for the 96, which we escorted back to the pit lane at a low speed, but since we did not have another admin we made the best of it that we could.

I enjoyed watching this race guys Smile See you in 13 days at Westhill Karting Big grin
Kinda choatic race overall and weak performance by me, apologies to those who got hindered.
Guess blue flag crash was avoidable, BUT by both sides: To pass on inside is the more common way..

On general speed, of course I could push harder but then it would likely have been DNF. With this car on "unknown" track it was kinda difficult race and so I went with tempo to have realistic chance to finish the race. Usually that works good enough to avoid last place. Almost caught Eclipsed when he was doing...whatever that was.
But did not really have enough practice and half had been on wrong track because of mistake in announcement. After the hill in first sector I always expected the harder turns of National config and braked too much... Looking
At least I did not run off-track in first lap Cool

This track was at least a little known...but Karting is completly new. MRT accelerates & brakes very hard, that might be some bumping..
Quote from Gutholz :At least I did not run off-track in first lap Cool

Well.. i ran off the track at the 1st turn of the 1st lap Big grin due to the fact i hadn't warmed up the fronts properly.. :/ btw a question - Does one still get points even tho he has a DNF ?

That was masterpiece of driving sideways on straight line! Razz

Yes actually Thumbs up

Thanks for attending Smile
Just watched the replay and I gotta say, some people are shocking at yielding for blue flags! :P

Others just slow down way too much, ahaha!
I guess you are really pro at weaving for blues ? ^^ (#BurnTry2k15)

As a matter of fact, your burn was actually a fact. I have gotten rather good at weaving for blue flags recently. :P

It's quite...lethargic. Yeah, lethargic, haha.
