The 'BurnoutCrew' Tracker:
Will automaticly list all registered teams and racers for this event.

The 'BurnoutCrew' Lapcounter
This Tool is relevant for the final results at the end of this race. Two Lapcounters are tracking your race. One counts your driven laps ingame and displays the quantity you have reached and your current position (the LfS positions may be incorrect if you think of disconnects and surely mutiple grids) directly on your screen. The second will be hosted on the DoP Eventpage for external views, so your teammates and other visitors could get a quick summary of this race event.

Disconnect / Re-joins
There're many reasons for disconnects and we don't whant to distroy a race of fun for you. So, reconnects will be allowed. Of course you're losing a lap in lap-counter. That's it.
After reconnect you have to act carefully with blue flags. Admins may punish you for ignoring a blue flag caused by a faster/leading team. Others may be ignored. Unfortunetly there is no way to prevent LfS programmaticly from showing the blue flags. So it's up to you, to fit the rules of racing...

The Appreciation
It is only a team competition. The total number of driven laps decides the final placements. This is determinded by the Lapcounter. If there are two, or more teams in the same lap after race end, the first finish decides for winning this event. Penalties: The Admins could judge immediately about penalties; for example: crossing the pitlane, unfair actions, permanent ignoring blue flag and so on. The penalty scale could be ‘Drive through’ or ‘Stop and go’ und must fit in the next following three laps!

Exlusion
The BurnoutCrew organizes this Event. We will decide about necessary adjustments if needed. There will be no privileged participation.
I am still missing an introduction text for this event. Compare my attached screenshots to see what kind of empty space I am talking about.

Also I don't know about any confirmation about streaming/broadcasting this race. Any information about that available? I currently have it on 'no'.

Hello,

I wanted to have some clarification.
In the server of qualifications there are a layout ... will be used in the race?
on the left is allowed to cut? (Turn 13, chicane after the oval)
if you can not cut to the left (as I think it's more correct) why not put a stake to indicate the maximum cutting capacity or extend the line of tires,

it would also be useful as a reference point, having to make a race of 24 hours, a wrong step on bollards involves serious damage to cars

example of change

The layout is the same at qualification and race server.

In case you cut the corner on left hand side you take the risk of damage the car or even shoot you out of the track. That is why we left this part of the chicane unchanged.
During the test races many drivers had problems with this corner and many damages where taken but it still is the decision of each one to take the risk or drive a little slower.

In qualify the time is invalidate if you cut?

after see the decoration that was made on the right,
i thought that at least put a stake on the left that give a reference point ... less errors for all ;-)

Mh, im not the biggest fan of last minute changes of the layout, even its only minor. A lot of drivers already did their qualifying without that post, and in the race i think the yellow-black kerb (dont know the proper term) is indication enough how far you can go. When you cut to much or to often, i guess there will be some kind of live-reko, which gives out a warning or a penalty. Well if you cut in the qualifying, thats a thing, but i think a qualifying for a 24h race isnt that important Smile

Totally for the record.. LFS devs called it Speed Hump, which it actually is.. They are ineffective in real life and also @LFS Big grin

With the right angle and speed its still possible to cut without much risk.. But ah well..

I got that point, but again, we only wanted to make sure that it isn't possible to go flatout through the chicane. If you take the risk to cut on left hand side, it is up to you...
As cargame.nl said "With the right angle and speed its still possible to cut without much risk.." My opinion is: You may cut there for one two or maybe ten laps, but never for 50, 100 and more as we do in 24 hours.
If you worry about your qualification be calm. This race is not be won if you qualify first and is not lost if you qualify last.
The procedure
Main Race: on Saturday, 2015, 24 Jan..

* MEZ 10.00 (GMT 09.00): Server OPEN
* MEZ 11.00 (GMT 10.00): 24h Race START
* race: 24 hours * no lag lap and no restart
* pitstop and changing driver is allowed
* yellow and blue flag are to attend
* tidy driving in the pitlane
* in general: one Admin is on the server

Be on track 20 min before start!
Only the start driver is allowed to join the server!

For driver changes join the server as late as possible! After the change leave the server immediately to give the other team a chance for a change, as you would like to have too.

Race facts:
You will not win in the first lap, even not in the first or second corner!
* Respect competition and smaller car classes!
* Respect blue flag!
* Notice yellow flag!

Careless overtaking endangers other teams, so drive clean and fair!

For pit in and out notice the track layout, especially at the end of the pitlane. Otherwise a 'Drive-through-penalty' may be given! Admins are on track!
Enjoy and keep racing!

Could we please get an exception to the 50-lap rule for our team driver 12 A.Ylöstalo (Smashmolth)? He's got experience, and also his team won the 12 hour race not a long ago.

Thanks

Everyone who qualified the last days is allowed to paticipate the race. The 50-lap rule is history for this one.
