1. A Few Reminders
- All starting drivers should be on the race server within 10 minutes of the scheduled race start (i.e., 15:50 UTC).
- Class polesitters will act as safety cars for the parade lap. Each polesitter must maintain a steady 60mph / 100kph, plus or minus 6mph / 10 kph, once the field has assumed the double-file formation, until the green flag is given.
- Using a shift-p or shift-s will result in a -1 lap penalty. Disconnections will not result in a penalty unless they are judged to be intentional or to have gained a team time.
- If you block messages, you must immediately unblock them in order to avoid a penalty.
- Each team should have a representative in the MoE IRC channel (#moe @ gamesurge.net) at all times; if you do not have a representative present when needed by the admins, you may be penalized.
The admins will instruct each class to roll off the grid separately. GT2 drivers in particular should not begin to move until instructed by the admins.
Drivers should maintain a single-file order during the parade lap, with a reasonable gap to the car ahead, until they have passed through the final sector split. After crossing the final sector split, drivers should assume double-file formation. Tire warming is allowed until the final sector split. Do not warm tires after entering the final sector.
The start will be split between the classes; each class will get its own starting command (eg., "GT1 -- GREEN FLAG"). The GT1 "GREEN FLAG" message will appear in blue, while the GT2 message will appear in red.
3. Post-race DT/SG Time Penalties
If a protest is made within the last hour of the event, it will be ruled upon after the race has finished. Time penalties will be used in this case. Below are the time penalties that are equivalent to drive-through and stop-and-go penalties:
DT: 13s
SG: 25s
4. Weather
Everybody should already assume this, but: clear day / no wind.
5. Helpful suggestion / LIFE AND DEATH REQUEST
All drivers should enable replay autosave and post stint replays for all protests. This will be very helpful to the admins over the course of a 24-hour race. Thank you!
