The online racing simulator
got the same error, too
I tried about 20 times until I finally got a stable connection
Maybe servers should be restarted before the session if some amount of people get this trouble
Hmm this server is different from the server which cargame servers are running on, to avoid overload (actually its a faster one too )...

But... TCP settings where still on default... I noticed some errors in the log.

I think it will go better now. Configured Linux with same TCP buffer settings as the cargame mainserver.

Quote from commandermas :most of the rules will be like 2010, just look here

i will post all changes soon.

some changes:
you can drive alone again
teams can have 2 teams per class (except ngt: you can have as much teams as you want there)

Will the 4 drivers limit stay for the race?

Increasing it to 5 or 6 might make it easier for everyone, especially when it comes to night shifts - just suggesting.
didn't i say that somewhere?

well then to be sure i said it:

this year every team is allowed to drive with up to 6 drivers in the race
is there anywhere a live-ticker?
no there is no qualy live-ticker.

use the airio tracker on the server.

Thanks.
I've just done two laps in Q and don't want to hotlap any more but is there a chance organizators would tell me if my fastest lap is valid before the qualifying session ends? I just want to be sure that I don't need to do any more laps and sleep well

We dont check every replay.
So if you think your qualy lap was clear than you can go sleep
After Qualy we will check replays from a few driver...
so its your choice if you will do more laps.
Is this rule remains for 2011??

Quote from 2010 Rules :3.2.8 Cars who missed the qualification may still participate in the race, but off the last position of their class.

Livestream race...?
Yes there will be a livestream as far as i know

and yes 3.2.8 is still active, but the qualification lasts more than 14 hours.

Just curious, how will you guys achieve this? TV Director doesn't work on open configs.

Unless you plan to use default LFS cameras?

You will see :-)

onboards all the time...they are most popular anyway
onboard is cool, needs to be used more often

Thanks!
Finally I could take part in the qualify.

Are you really going to split 37 teams on 2 servers? That would mean only 18 drivers on one server, doesn't sound too good if you ask me.
we are still thinking about what to do

but as there might be a number of teams who still want to participate the number still might increase
I'd like to know how to have more than 32 cars on the track same time...
Ofcourse I'd like to have more than 18 cars on the servers too, but it's impossible to put all of the teams into one server.

Well of course you could not drive with more then 32, but you could limit the amount of people in a class, which some people will complain about I'm sure, but I rather drive on a full server then a half empty one.
I think take the top 3-4 from each class and put them into server 1, and the rest into server 2. Or smthing like that

So there is 9-12 cars in server 1, while 25 in server two?

Looking at the Q results, there is:
GT1: 14
GT2: 14
nGT: 9

Now I don't know how many are missing, but it can easily be seperated as:
Server 1: 19 cars
GT1: Top 7
GT2: Top 7
nGT: Top 5

Server 2: 18 cars
GT1: Bottom 7
GT2: Bottom 7
nGT: Bottom 4

Not full grids, but unless we had 30 or 60 cars, it was never going to be.

Good point Maybe top 6?
