Lap 16 GT2

Sector 2 long left,

Sonicrealms GT2 (35) against AMT GT2 - (33)

Spdo GT1 gets past us into the fast right and AMT decides that they are going to try and divebomb us into the long left using the kerb and the grass causing us left front damage and lost us time.

We've reviewed this incident and decided to apply a DT penalty to car #33 for causing an avoidable incident.

Cars: 15 - Alternative.AXLE3D blocked and crashed 01 - F1RST racing
Sectors: full lap 63 and T1 in 64
Description: through the lap 63 car 15 was blocking car 01. In T1 lap 64 car 15 went wide and then turned into car 01. 01 was pushed in to the wall which caused damage and loss of time.
Lap 1 GT1

Turn 1

Ocius Racing (#11) against Warbirds - (#14)

#14 taps #11 rear causing #11 to spin out. Result is huge crash involving boths grids and us pitting with lots of damage.
No protest, just as a little reminder:
You GT1s won't gain anything by squashing your ass in right before or even in the corner but risk to destroy your, the GT2s, or both races! So please wait with overtaking till to the straights. This will make you lose less time and won't put any car into danger.

Lap 33 GT2

Sector 1 right bend

LFSLA GT2 (38) against INFRNO GT2 - (40)


Reaching the second turn to the left, number 36 (LFSLA) overtakes number 40 (Inferno) taking good earning of the position. Inferno's pilot then over delays the breaking without having an inch of his car ahead of mine, and touches me, making me loose control, several places and lots of time. Even when it was not a big crash, it was enough to take me out of the track.

Warbirds does not give appropriate space to the Ocius car ahead and in fact accelerates into them at the apex of the corner, instigating the multi-car accident.

Thanks for at least giving us a chance to say that mysho just missed his brake point. You know that we don't do that on purpose. I don't know why this isn't handled as a racing incident - which it has been!

Second of all i like to say that you should ask the victim first about the situation about his view instead of just reviewing it and giving penalties as you like. I guess this doesn't interest you at all but that's just an idea for making such unexplainable penalties more transparent for all included parties.

We usually try to be not that picky about those incidents because in most cases it is just a mistake by somebody else you should not judge that much but i guess we have to be bitchy too.

We rule it as a normal racing inceident for the following reasons:

That corner was the frist one where #01 was actually close enough to make a pass. However at the same time #15 made a driving mistake forcing him to go wider and slower while #01 stay on the normal line. Both cars hit.

3rd sector, last turn complex

40# Team Inferno against #38 LFSLA

Car #38 tries to overtake from inside, then sees there's no space and brakes, but then stupidly enough hits the throttle to hit me and make me loose several positions. I know it wasn't on purpose from him (I hope) but I have to protest it here, because it was THE SAME situation I got penalty from. I also did only simple driving mistake and the contact was not done on purpose and I at least would like to say that I'm sorry for it.

We've investigated this incident and decided to apply a DT penalty for car #38 for causing an avoidable incident. #38 tried to perform a very clumsy overtaking manoeuvre which was never going to work, leading to contact with #40 and lost positions for both cars.

When entering the oval, #13 hit our car and caused a loss of time and some suspension damage.

#13 makes a couple of half-hearted attempts to pass #40 in the second sector. #40 attempts to maintain momentum during these pass attempts and perhaps accidentally convinces #13 to back out of the gas. On the oval, #40 maintains its normal line and #13 tries to force its way up the inside, rather than taking the wide open outside lane. The rules state that cars should not deviate from their racing line when being lapped. #40 obeys this and #13 tries to make room where there is none, resulting in avoidable contact.

DT to #13 for avoidable contact, however a warning to #40 that they could show more flexibility in the future when being lapped.
Lap 215 GT2

3rd sector, after boothy chicane

40# Team Inferno against #14 Warbirds Team (P.Golabek)


#14 trying to pass #40, hits him and almost causes a spin of #40. Unnecessary action, could have waited until braking point...

We've reviewed this incident and decided it was a racing incident that requires no penalties to be assessed. To avoid contact like this in the future both teams should give more room when there is inter class lapping going on.
