League 'userbars' - have one?

That looks nice. But I'd just like to know what exactly it is the userbars show I've never seen your driver database before - do you really collect results from all leagues and put that in your db (as it's an event db)? Or is it data collected from lfsworld?
And these userbars could be used by any LFS'er then?
Yes - we collect results from LFS league races on our site using a replay parser.

We've around 3700 replays at 28 gigabytes right now from over 300 competitions.

The userbars are available for any driver (80,000+) or team (all the ones on LFSWorld) in our database!
ok then I'd just have one suggestion - could you somehow show in the userbar what the displayed data means, or rather what it stands for? I mean, show ppl that it's stats from the EventDB or something. Just to give the userbar some more meaning, so that ppl who see it actually know what it stands for (i didn't, hence i had to ask )

Okay, I'll try to work that into a background image.
How about now, Victor?

cool. Ok I've added that.
I chose to add two separate bbcode tags though. One for driver and one for team :

[spdor]joshdifabio[/spdor]
[spdor]joshdifabio[/spdor]

[spdot]154[/spdot]
[spdot]154[/spdot]
Thanks Victor!
Yo Vic,

The <img> tags seem to be missing quote marks around the src attribute for the spdor and spdot userbars. Other userbars seem to be okay.

Cheers.
Hi Vic,

I finally managed make an OLFSL userbar for members and admins.
Here's the link to it: http://www.lfs-league.com/ubar.php?licn={lfs licensename}

Code could be something like [OLFSL]lfs licensename[/OLFSL] ?

Thank you in forward
alrighty, that's added.
Example :

[OLFSL]varjsa-9[/OLFSL]
[OLFSL]varjsa-9[/OLFSL]

could you rename the images to :

admin.jpg
commentator.jpg
driver.jpg

that's so the bbcode content matches the image filename. Otherwise it won't work.
Hello Victor,

Don't mean to bother you, but we hope you approve this banner for the "Road to Formula 1" series. Anybody can add it to their signature with their S2 license name as the parameter.

The raw code for my S2 license (Lebaron) is:

[r2f1]Lebaron[/r2f1]

If you need any other changes or have further questions, I will be more than glad to help.

Thank you.

It's huge ^^.

Are you stating that because of a deviance from a pre-defined banner specification?

yes. There's nothing written down, but just have a look at all the other userbars used in people's signatures on this forum. They're all (pretty much) the same size which is a nice size, not too big to load and not distracting from the actual thread conversations too much.
350x19 is taken as the standard size for userbars
Thanks for the feedback. I have changed the size of the banner and toned down the effects. Hope this works!

Again, here is the code to review the updated banner:

[r2f1]Lebaron[/r2f1]
alright, that's added.
Thank you Victor. You are "da man!"
Maybe I haven't done it correctly...

Fun racing League userbar is:

Is it possible to add in LFS signature?
Seems good. It would be better if you'd have league statistics about the racer using the bar, like points / rank for example.
Is the date part in the url just something you chose to put there for yourself? It's not needed is it?
And there's a small escaping bug : http://www.funracingleague.com ... rbar.php?nome=lysergic%22 (you need to stripslashes() the input. Of course if you then use the name in an SQL query, you have to mysql real escape it in the query to avoid sql injection).

I use a function:

<?php
$text
urldecode($_GET['nome']);
?>

But I think You are right, let me improve the system, then I will ask You again.

Thanks.
