I will be there. And I think my team could be a force this season.

Shame we changed Roope after the race as we would be leading otherwise :O

Good luck all

urgh got owned into T1 and then someone spun on restart and took me and lims by surprise. Then me and Simon had a niec battle but ofcourse, Simon beats me in most ways.

Atleast I had a battle with someone. Although it prematurely ended my weekend :\

Wow, what fantastic races they were. Even the quali ones I watched were brilliant

Did a decent time in quali but was surprised when I saw it was good enough for 6th. Pleasantly surprised

Sadly, me being me, I ballsed the start up. Dropped a couple of places but was relatively quiet for me after that. Me and Yann had a coming together I think which I am sorry for Finishing top 10 was a nice finish though.

Race 2 started so well for me. Good jump on Chris at the start and led away for a couple of laps. Them be my first led laps so I am happy with that

Then on racing Lap 3, I went off and for some reason my front left wheel bent so I had to pit. Sorry for those I nearly took out coming back on. I hadnt realise until I turned right that something was wrong.

Went on a nice little run to catch Yann and co but when I did, Yann misfortunately displaced a tyre and i hit that and span. Shame as I was looking forward to a good fight

And then I went off and did the car some engine damage so had to reset again. And then to top it off, McAfee decided to alert me to some crap and minimized lfs. Not only did I crap myself but mustve made whoever was behind me crap myself.

Finished 11th in Race 2 but I am taking the positives outta this one. Qualified in top 10 and led my first couple of laps. Lets hope I can improve on this

Great racing tonight and thanks once again

Sorry for whoever I caused to go off in the Feature.

Nice finish in Sprint but got pwned in Feature and I just RQ seeing as I was in a decent position. Shame as Ill probably lose the decent points I got in the sprint :|

Well, that was actually rather fun (Y)

Quali went awful but meh, I didnt fail especially hard.

Sprint race was alright. Didnt make too many mistakes and had a last lap tussle with David and he beat me by a measly hundredth of a second. Maybe I shouldve defended a lil harder

Feature race was going brilliantly, until T1 happened. Either I braked early or someone piled into the back of me. Luckily SC was out so I could repair teh damage. Then I was running well in 12th when I just failed into T1 and wrecked my dampers (i think) and had to pit and then did the same thing again 2 laps later but it wasnt so bad so I went to the end.

Gutted to be lapped but 12th and 16th arent the worst results I couldve asked for '

Quote from lizardfolk :
Most people I've known who are skeptical about oval racing found themselves shocked when they try iRacing oval racing

This.

I tried iRacing for about a month. I even did the big Talladega race in the NASCAR cars (that was the special offer at the time so I went for it to give it a try) and my god it was so so different to anything ive tried before. In LFS, driving around Kyoto is pretty dull after you get into the race.

Going around Talladega was always a challenge. Tyre wear, fuel going down changed the handling of the car so so much and it was a much more tiring experience driving around for about an hour and a half. Sadly, my inexperience showed and crashed whilst racing for 3rd in the final few laps.

But iRacing, imo, presents REAL cars better than LFS. But in my time at iRacing, I didnt find the races interesting and once I got into a routine, it did get boring after a while. LFS has a much more friendly community and I generally preffered to race on the lfs servers rather than race on iRacing.

If I had the funds, I mightve given it a real crack and got the better cars and better tracks. Maybe in the future eh?

From what I saw in Pool C, the racing was very fair. I may have been at the front but everyone involved seemed to be very fair and not many accidents occured. And Pool B showed how good the racing can be.

Was absolutely gutted when I rolled it. Was leading comfortably but Oscar was looking to get on ma ass. Would've been a brilliant battle. Ragequitted after the roll so didn't do race 2.

Wheel broke soon afterwards so now have no wheel. But EMA bonus comes through soon and I shall get a wheel with that moniez. (Y)

Have fun and good luck to the rest of the competitors. Thanks to Michele for the hard work

you need to go into the control options and either set the axis for throttle brake to seperate? or
recalibrate the pedals and make sure you assign the throttle brake axis
alot of the stuff is clickable.

i am sure its combined and then u assign the axis by clicking on it in the control options. But i have asked someone who has one if they could check, maybe they will swing by in a mo
zippytheone

have you reassigned the axis?
do all 3 axis show when its on seperate?
zippytheone

its to do with the axis settings in the game
go into the options player controls and change the axis for brake accel to seperate maybe?

HiJackThis or Silentrunners

If you know a little you can get a long way with these 2 tools. they will show you exactly what is running and help you to get rid of them.
Silentrunners is a vb script but safe IMHO

Just google it

I have an R440 and used to be plagued by these problems, sometimes it was like even the force feedback was switched off....

I dont have the problems anymore, I dont plug the wheel in until my pc is up and running, then when i get into LFS first thing i do is goto the track and turn full left and full right on the wheel and floor the accell and the brake.

Then everything seems to be calibrated and good to go.

I like the r440, nice compact unit and fairly decent pedals!
