Quote from GTR_PT :Protest: #17 agains #19
Lap: Green flag lap
Teams involved: #17 (SpeedCore), #19 (ConeDodgers), #15 (n1)
Sector: second sector
Time:0h.2mins.52secs

My description of the accident:
When the green flag is given #17 is passing #15 in the inside, so is #19 in the outside but he doesn´t have space and don't want to lose any speed so he goes to the grass and when #19 returns to the track hits #15 that hits #17. Consequently #15 and #17 spin out causing damage to both #15 and #17 cars.

EDIT: ops, forgot the replay --> http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?mm3mmrjjzdj

Well, I think that depends a bit on where the last car is at that point. It's a bit nasty to give a green flag while the last rows are still in the chicane.

Quote :Anyway Arabic in LFS is not forgotten - I'm interested in supporting the right-to-left languages like Arabic and Hebrew, after studying them at some point but I think it will still be a long time before these become a priority... as you know the Scirocco is the main priority at the moment then I think this year's focus will be physics, content and other things at the core of LFS which are important for all LFS racers.

Start procedure:
The race start will be on the back stretch, after a full safety car lap. The safety car will pull off on the outside of turn 1, and the leader will control the field from that point until the green flag. The same will apply in case of a server crash.

45% rule:
GT1: 144 laps
GT2: 137 laps

Quote from PaulC2K :On this subject, couldnt an in-sim app be used to make this job much easier?

Has to be easier than the method of asking people to join

I think we started the 24hours in time, so the whole thing shouldn't be an issue anymore, as we also introduce a "be on the server at least 10 mins before the start, or you loose your position" rule. Personally I don't think we need another app than can go wrong

You have to add a Wikipedia link for such games older than 20% (rough guess) of the community...

nevertheless... damn you!

Name just one game you guys have played as long as LFS before getting bored to death with it.

Do you really think that a new car or track will change anything for more than a month before becomming bored again?
Seriously, I doubt it. Sure, LFS development speed is slow compared to other games, and sure, the grass is always greener on the other side. But I get the feeling that all this talk about the "death" of LFS comes from people bored from a game they played longer than anything else and desperatly trying to get the feeling back of what LFS was once for them (if that makes any sense to you).

And to the actual question: No, it's not dead.

*bump*

I can't believe it, but somehow they managed to do a proper cut (which heroes is still failing to do) and suddenly make good and fun to watch episodes! Big quality boost on from epsiode 13 onwards. It feels a lot more like the original series now.

OK, as the quality of the stuff I received was good in only a very few cases. I made a small document that will hopefully make it easier for you and the poor people having to sort all the informations...

If you can think of anything that is missing, feel free to mention it.

Also, please don't pm me the stuff, please use the email: three_jump at mastersofendurance dot eu as I check that more often than the PM box.

And please stick to the .doc format if possible (or .pdf)

It would be also nice to get these informations (if updated) not just on the day of the event, at least 3 days would be very helpful.
