In GridQualification, Schuhti posted the fastest times on the first two combos. (results) but what counts is today!

18:50 UTC - 23-lap race 1

Just like in recent seasons, the BurnoutCrew provides practice races for CityLiga drivers. These races will follow exactly the format of the CityLiga events the next day. Thereby these events are a perfect preperation for the real point races.
All events start at 20:00 CET/CEST, so the first three rounds start at 18:00 UTC while the remaining rounds start at 19:00 UTC.
If you want to compete, please sign-up in the linked threads. You may ask for an ABO, which means you can race all the races with no furhter required sign-up. If you want to race in these practice races although you , please request a guest start in the same thread. Please note the links are added as soon as possible after the creation of the corresponding threads.
A big thank you to the BurnoutCrew for another season of practice races!
At the moment I don't know any wednesday night league, however there is CityLiga on mondays, Rony's Tuesday's Fun Race international on tuesdays, Old Men Racing Cup and Torsdagsrace on thursdays,
[FM] Fox Friday championship on fridays, New Endurance Challenge and Desire of Patience Tour on saturdays and LFSCART, GenR GT1 Challenge and Absolute Beginners League(s) on sundays.
The season opener takes place in Jamaica. The LX6 will be raced around Fern Bay Gold reversed, on a clear day, without wind.
The season kicks off with a Sprintqualification: A 5 lap race will take place, which won't be rewarded with points for positions. The starting line-up for this race is set by the results of the tracker at Monday 18:00 UTC! The tracker only scores laps from the servers CityLiga Grid 1 and CityLiga Grid 2. The lap times from GridQualifications are not carried over into this scoring! All times from LFSWorld will count towards this scoring.
The Sprintqualification sets the grid for the first sprint race of 23 laps. The sprint races are rewarded with half points. After a short break the second sprint race of 23 laps will be held, with the top 10 reversed. The tenth of race one start from pole on race two, the ninth of race one start from second position on race two, and so on.
Due to the cutting situation in turn one only the servers CityLiga Grid 1 and CityLiga Grid 2 are tracked! On these servers a layout is used to prevent cutting in turn one.The layout from GridQualification will not be used for the races. One may point out: Even without the layout, cutting is prohibited and will eventually be penelised by the race admins!
As usual on pitlane exit you may not cross the yellow blend line. Any violation will result in a drive-though penalty.
Also, just like in the past, a laglap will be used before each race. A laglap is a race, that gets restarted on the first lap by the race admin.
We want you to respect the closed chat: In the course of the event the chat is closed unless the race admin opens it.
Last but not least a little reminder that it is the first race of the season, so please take care of your fellow drivers. Some may not be familiar with the procedures of CityLiga. Also you might not know your fellow drivers, sothat you might not be able to expect breaking points, their racing lines, etc. properly.
We're looking foreward to a fair season opener and great, exciting racing.
As GrdQualification has ended, team nominations are now open. A team is defined as a group of three or four racers. All have to be signed up for CityLiga 19 Two of these racers have to be officially on the same LFS team. Changes are generally not permitted exept for three driver teams who add a fourth driver. Teams which loose a driver due to withdrawals or disqualifications may also add drivers. Should the team be removed from the team's championship for failiure to feature 3 drivers or 2 drivers of the same team, it should be filled up before the next race, otherwise it will not score points.
In case a drivers fails to withdraw from a race in time, his/her team will be penalised with the deduction of 30 points from the team's championship!
The three best results of the team's drivers are summed up according to the current pointing scheme (see rules)
To sign your team up, follow the instructions in the thread on the CityLiga boards and use the following pattern:
