Some people might find such type of music nice, some might not. You should choose what you like otherwise it will lose it's own uniqueness about it and that's your own effort that you put into your work. As far as I'm concerned, the only thing that some people might dislike is the music that you choose to include in your own video, but you should remember that it's not about the audience and what they like - if you like it, that's all what matters!
I really dislike that burn thing..effect thing.. Also, in my opinion, the song you chose to use for this video most likely would have been good if you were watching this video whilst under the influence of drugs
Although I really like the way you have put those clips together. Great camera angles, nice flow and in fact it did go well along with the background music.
Switching over to DX11 won't improve a thing, it will simply limit other OS users. LFS doesn't need fancy graphics, they need to be simple, yet effective.
Don't worry Scawen, some people still have hope in LFS and the development team of LFS, including me, and I'm looking forward to this update and I really hope that you, the development team of LFS, will eventually come up with something new after this update as well. LFS is still an awesome game and even though there hasn't been anything new in the recent years, it's still a complete masterpiece.
Surely, the lack of development has affected the way people look at this game, also the league scene is not as competitive as it used to be, but in the end I think that if you personally still have faith in this whole project, it will eventually show how strong the community is..I sort of lost my point there, but I hope you understood it - such events in the end make everything stronger and such..
I apologize for continuing the off-topic, but I simply couldn't resist. The only thing that I truly want is that the legacy of LFS would continue, despite the fact that other sims are stepping the game up.
Even though currently LFS is not as active as it used to be, I still feel like there's a hope and sooner or later it might change. I found this video recently made by a teammate of mine from the drifting community (LFSW Hadesko). Forever Live For Speed! Hope this brings back some good old memories https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2GfI3LM3Vs
MARUS has proved it's possible to set a WR even in a FO8 with a mouse (not on oval, but on a track). Though I'm certain most people would find a steering wheel far more reasonable to use in a racing simulator just because you can completely control your car. I used to play LFS with a mouse for about 5 years (I used to drift back then, demo times) and I can say that it's very possible and in fact easy to control your car from the cockpit view without having a virtual steering wheel mainly because, in my opinion, over those 5 years I had acknowledged my muscle memory for my right hand and as long as you keep attention to what you are doing, you can easily do it.
I personally prefer a wheel over a mouse. It's like with any controller..after you master it, you can truly see the potential for it and in my opinion, a racing wheel that also has a set of pedals will most likely make you go far faster after you have mastered it and have the feel for it (except if you are MARUS or Nilex who for some reason sometimes can go insanely fast even with a goddamn mouse lol ) :melting: Nilex.exe; Poland.exe
Not sure if you could count two people as ''all mx-5 drivers''... In that case and from now on, MX5 is not fun to drive due to my experience in which I had the car pretty much sliding around like a donkey!
I bought the game for 1 month...I think it was 12 dollars, right? I sadly regret it. The MX5 handled like a bloody Reliant Robin, although it didn't exactly barrel roll for most of it's experience...more like had the will to spin in every single turn or suddenly have no grip in the front tires. It also had something magical about it...I mean, I was racing the other day when some guy on a straight away decided to just..ram me! Perhaps the MX5 truly has something unique about it!..
