Despite the bad outcome for car 00 , this accident has nothing to do with letting car 00 pass..the only real mistake here was trying to get right in front of car 09, when it was too early and too risky. Car 00 didn´t even have to do that. He could just have stayed on the line he had during the passing until the chikane and everything would have been fine... Whether car 09 accelerate or not after the braking isn´t very important, because car 00 shouldn´t have gone to the right after the passing anyway.
This is just a good example of a passing car error. He thinks he has left room for the passed car, but actually he hasn´t.
Sorry, this league is stopped before time, because it was difficult to maintain participation after half of the season. I hope it wil be possible to do again another time, because it is a great concept. But what would be nice to make it even better, would be, if LFS makes damages more real than it is now. It´s not very realistic as it is now. For example. People can totally wreck their cars and continue racing..even with good laptimes sometimes. In real life it would have been impossible. When cars in real racing hit the wall or another car, normally they would pit..but unfortunately not yet in LFS. Hope it will change.
Actually I think, if damages were much more effective it would stop T1 accidents a lot and make LFS much nicer to play.
Well, I think I know, but could we have it clear..
In case there comes a safetycar period during the race, passing is not allowed, so it means also we cannot pass the slower classes to come up to the safetycar field. Correct?
I ´can´t find in the rules anything about how you find final positions as we are racing on different servers.
Can anyone from server 2 end better than someone from their class in server 1?
I think it would not be fair, if someone from server 1 for example have a lot of problems during the race and maybe a very bad performance. Then a good team from server 2 should be in front if that team has run a longer distance in total during the 16 hours.
The laps counted on the tracker only seems to show 1 lap, when you actually have driven an outlap, a time seting lap and begun a lap. How shall we count. If you go out of garage, then set a time and then use shift p, is it then 3 laps?
"3.3.9 In case of a change of drivers the replacing driver may join the server until the current driver began the last lap before his stop. After the change the replaced driver has to leave the server immediately."
Shouldn´t it be?:
3.3.9 In case of a change of drivers the replacing driver may join the server not before the current driver begins the last lap before his stop. After the change the replaced driver has to leave the server immediately.
Please, can you explain a little more clear. Does this mean, that 2 of them are reserve drivers during the race if someone for example get a disconnect or things are fixed from the moment the race starts?
