I will be the first to admit I don't really know much about computer's but I can get by. This problem has baffled me and even friends who work as PC technicians. So this is my last try at finding out if anyone knows.

A few days ago I was on my PC in the evening, everything was working as it should. my anti-virus started its scan as it does, but as I was doing other things i canceled the scan. The next morning, as I wouldn't be using it, I turn my PC on and leave the virus scanner to run. I use Symantec, Defender and also Spybot. None of these found anything on my PC so I turned it off. Came back that evening and within about a minute of booting up my PC now freezes completely. This happens whether I or anyone else logs onto their account or not. As it was a sudden thing I thought it might be hardware issue but the PC will still run in safe mode, where running the virus scanners etc still finds nothing. As a last attempt i did a system restore to a few days earlier to when I knew my PC was running fine and my PC worked fine again, until yesterday where it started crashing int he same manner as before.

I use Windows XP service pack 2. I can't remember off the top of my head my system specs but if they are needed I will find them out and add them.


Short of re installing all of windows I am at a loss, if anyone can think of anything I would be very grateful.

There is a problem with this, your team has four drivers while other teams have 10+ drivers available. Taking the lowest denominator then say no one driver can do more then one quater of the races. Problem with the layout is that it punishes people who don't deserve to be punished. Take your example of ky3 chicane, If I am braking and the person behind brakes a little late, runs into the back of me then I possibly wont be able to make the corner and run into the anti cutting objects.
Curbs shouldn't be counted as cutting IMO.

AFAIK all the tracks in lfs have the white line around the edge, so maybe off track should count as in if 3 wheels or more are over the white line is off the track and result in a penalty. This allows curbs to be used as only 2 wheels will cross the line while removing cutting and using parts that are not the track. The problem comes though of how to enforce the rule while keeping it fair to people who cross the lines due to circumstances.

Good idea, if a combo is set and the divisions are set up by driver, or maybe drivers, setting fastest time decides the division they race in. I personally would say that 2 divisions that are kept seperate for the whole league would be best, then at the end the top and bottom X amount of the divisions change for season 3.

I don't have it png with clear background but here is a png withe a white background. It looks slightly simplified in colour variations compared to the little one though.

I think I need to sort mine out - 4.2 Gb *shock* Although I have everything under one lfs folder, lfs, lfs test patch, skins etc.

Just my normal lfs game folder is still 1.16 Gb though.

The histoty of Greboth.
My alias is a nickname really. I am fan of rock and metal music which going to a school full of chavs earnt alot of 'grebo' and 'goth' comments. Those of you who are smart enough will have noticed the connection but these comments earnt me the nickname 'greb'. Bored in Religous education one day during my GCSE's I fused the words grebo and goth together forming Greboth. The name stuck from then on and i was called greb or greboth (or crow but thats another nickname) So i had a choice of Crow or Greboth, as Greboth is my email and name on other forums and is more interesting I simply stuck with it.
Don't get called greb so much these days and occasionally online but it is was my nickname and still is to my friends from school.
