I haven´t been active on the forum for a veery long time (last post March 2010) Since i´ve just been waiting for new updates and stuff to get me interested in LFS again.

But now.. Comes along this silly man, with his rather silly opinion and raises a massive argument on such a stupid subject.
This means the communty isn´t dead after all!! weheey!
Really feeling more interested in LFS after this topic!

To comment on the topic... You dont need to see where the tyres are to use the whole width of the track. If u have eyes in your head and they are open and you have even slightly situeation awareness, you know where the tyres are.
I can just imagine this seth guy crashing into parked cars at winter, cos the street was so narrow and he couldn´t estimate his cars width without force mode...

Force mode is no advantage. Just as simple as that..

No, really, if it´s ever appearing in this sim, it must be just as crazy and awful, as it originally was. We get to play with all kinds of electronic aids with the scirocco, so LX8 would balance it out pretty well.

And I think it really does, not that it would be bad. But if it´s based on IQ, why didn´t they make it more different looking. That looks like toyota IQ TRD. I just wonder who the hell is ever gonna buy that car?

Uhm.. or then it´s just you, who hardly ever uses it.

If you go around at some cruise servers you might not see them, but there´s a lot of skilled racers, who drive it and can master it.
It seems like the LX´es are used more in events and series, than in public servers.
But, yeah I would also like to see the LX8. Even if it would take some time, based on the current development speed.

It´s so much better to play with, when u got a 3.0L straight 6 engine and rear wheel drive. Can´t even imagine how boring automatic would be..

I was on a server just a min ago, and suddenly almost everyone lost connection to the server. When they came back they said that their LFS had crashed. After 2 mins it happened to mee too. I´m using the Z13 patch.
Maybe someone who was there could post some info of the crash.

Well, I think I didn´t lack in confidence when I came up with this name.

No I didn´t buy it from a dealer. I just happened to take the photo in there as the dealer was already shut and I went to look my car from the big windows they have. They reflect pretty well..
And in the picture the car is just dirty, cos the previous owner hadn´t had time to wash it. I dont know what you mean by that deatailing and buffing, but there is almost no dents on the car, except for one small one in the hood. No rust either. It´s imported from switzerland and driven very few times on the salty finnish winter roads.

yeah, a lot of LFS´ers have noticed this and It´s pissing me off also.
So far I haven´t spotted anything on MTV3 site that´s referring to LFS, at all.

I don´t know what kind of deal lfs devs made with MTV, but looks like MTV3 is not following it..
