There's no accidents because no one wants to crash and hurt themselves/others. It's a little different when you can just go ahead and put 150 G's on your virtual driver after connecting with a wall head-on at 220mph and laugh it off.
I drive a 1977 Volkswagen Beetle.
We have a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe in the garage, half in pieces.
The everyday family car is a 2005 Ford Mustang.
And the winter vehicle is whatever we scrounge up for a few thousand dollars.
We also have a 1974 Chevy Nova next to the garage, be it hasn't run in 2 years; never got around to it.
i'll get picks of all of them today or tomorrow, if anyone is interested.
One thing that I could see as being fairly simple to add with the spectator mode is an option to jump the camera to a car(s) that cause a yellow flag. As in a real life broadcast, chances are an accident doesn't unfold on the camera that is actually live at the moment, but rather will jump to the action as soon as it happens.
I've got a ghetto home made clutch pedal. Heel and toe downshifting isn't all that hard, just takes a little bit to get used to. Definately adds to the coolness factor if u can do it right, sounds awesome in game
Been racing for some time now and decided it's time to possibly join up with a team. A bit about myself:
LFS username: poppn29
Racing Style: clean yet aggressive, non-drift
Racing Equipment: Logitech MOMO Racing, custom clutch pedal and H shifter
Location: Connecticut, USA
Time racing in LFS: I was a demo racer for a few months in 2004, purchased S1 and S2 shortly after. I am also CRC certified.
If any teams that I would fit the requirements for that are currently recruiting can just leave a post, that would be awesome.
So today I've been messing around with 3ds max 7 and some fxo scenes, and so far I can render the car in various positions and such, but that's it really. I've been trying to figure out how to change the background color and add various lighting effects, but it doesn't seem to be working. The 3d model shows the effects, but when I go to render, nothing happens Can someone maybe point me in the right direction into making lighting and shadow effects? i've tried Google, but couldn't find anything juicy to use.
