I think I described all this already though. Maybe I didn't give enough detail.

Did some testing with XRR and FZR with street_super tires on three tracks KY2 WE2 SO6 (didnt know what track to choose Big grin BL1 has bumpy braking zone so nightmare for me Big grin)
I'm using mouse for steering. so my throttle control are not the best but I can make so good lap times.

XRR was quite unpredictible especially out of turns when boost comes ON and rear just looses grip easy on 3-4 gear. If it's slow U turn it's manageable. But long turn when you need fast exit uh hard, turbo lag and studden power doesnt help. Had to work hard to make some decent time.

FZR was fun to drive easy going straight out the pits lot of grip, easy in turns, felt nimble. It does some wheel spin out of turns but you can predict it because it has NA engine constant torque and easy to control with throttle.


Maybe +20mm tyre width added to XRR will solve problem and I think when official version be released players will start to organise events with GTR+Street tires and then we will see real difference and maybe latter Scawen could do minor changes to tires width or something.

Overall cars had 0,8-1sec difference and had to put more effort and more laps into XRR to reduce time gap and with FZR on a 2nd hot lap already faster than XRR.

didnt read all posts above so sorry if that was mentioned.

About GTR and rally thing is great idea I would like to see AWD XFR with rally tyres (tried it with tweak years ago was real fun felt like WRC car Big grin just need more suspension travel, we have xfr ralling on main menu Big grin) but I think that last time when was introduces 45 deg steering on XRG XRT it gave some advantage to the cars for race and hot lap times.
So my suggestion is to introduce buttons RACE/DRIFT modes and Server host can set what modes it allows.
For RACE mode we have what we have now. And wr times could be set just with race mode.

And with one press of button you go into DRIFT/RALLY mode that gives options to set higher steering angles and rally/street tyres.

Make a list of hosts that was visited previosly... quite annoying to look for server if there is no player in it so you have to refresh all servers and look for specific one in the list Big grin (because I filter empty servers)... there is some space in "Join specific host" page at the right or at the bottom.... I guess no need to show what car or track just name for fast host swap Big grin

just found some information in README file

controller:
LFS tries to move force feedback wheel to centre when car is reset

maybe this thing makes wheel to act like this.

You should write more information about it. I have same problem with it, wheel just keeps centering and stays stiff even when you start texting or when you are in meniu and I don't know what to do. I thought it will fix it's self when I update lfs version from Q to R but meh still the same.

I think its a very bad idea seen from an international community perspective. If you want to talk to team members there already is Teamspeak (or Skype).

I ment it to be admin command like /kick /spec and others, maybe with availability to vote for muting, not like muting individually. Some people are worth playing just have a very bad language and no respect to others.

In connection to working with InSim features, is there any chance to see client's IP via InSim in near future (official patch of this test patch)? In IN_NCN, for example. This would be very useful.

How should BL3X look like? Because there is no exit from that car park and the map shows like I'm far far away from the track.

Maybe you delete player info from mod, when he disconnects?
If yes, you should save LastLotto (if you don't save it) info somewhere (e.g. in the same place where is player name, etc) and set the LastLotto when he connects.
