I can say that Momo black pedals work with the G25 wheel. You have to invert one of the pedal axis though in software. So I'd guess that it also works the other way around then...
edit: however, I strongly doubt that the clutch pedal will work then
Sorry pool 5 for not showing up. Unfortunately I had a hardware failure in my real car and in consequence could not make it home in time. A pity indeed...
Unfortunately I encountered a very strange technical problem some laps before finish: Being on a straight line at full throttle suddenly my brakes completely locked without any identifiable reason. Sorry for the guy behind me, who certainly could not count on such a strange behaviour and consequently bumped into my car. I hope nothing got damaged...
Sounds interesting. I wonder how track-side objects look in 3D, that are not modelled voluminous, but that are just flat structures with a texture on it (for performance reasons). I think trees and spectators are often realized that way. Doesn't this look pretty strange, if you have a real 3D look at it? And did you run your setup also with other racing games than LFS?
edit: and one more question: Isn't it extremely tricky to align those two projectors? I guess the two projected images have to match exactly to avoid nasty artefacts.
I dont like it because it does not work properly for all sort of games and configurations. Same thing with the Wingman profiler for setting up Logitech wheels. For example I do not get it working as intended when playing RBR via RBRnet. I do not remember what game exactly was the problem with the ATI profiles, but there also was some...
By the way: Is there some technical reason, why AA/AF cannot be set from within the game? It's actually a bit annoying to do that in the display properties all the time (and yes, I know that you can create profiles with catalyst, but I dont want to)
Indeed those pedals are not nice at all. I think Logitech made even a step backwards with the brake pedal. Even though the pedals got more robust compared to the Momo black ones, they removed the second spring from the brake pedal, which at least gave a descrete pressure sensitivity at one point. Of course this is nothing compared to the smooth PBM of the ECCI... but well, was better than making it behave just the same as clutch and throttle.
Hi guys, just in case anyone is interested and it hasn't been reported before already: The ECCI pedals with connector for the black Momo work also when connected to the G25 wheel. Only slight modifications to the connector are required: You have to unscrew that cable support thing at the bottom of the wheel and pull off the screws from the connector itself, otherwise it won't fit in. However, all this can be easily redone in case of warranty claim is required. Then the break axis has to be inverted in software and that's it.
Note, that I do have a 2-pedal version only, so I don't know if a clutch pedal would work as well.
At the moment I got the DNF I was 10th from 11. Difficult to say, if the driver at pos 11 had passed me before I would have finished the pit stop, so I propose that you simply set me to last position, which would be 11th then.
The whole race went pretty bad for me anyway. Got involved into a crash on first lap already, which made my car almost undrivable and in consequence I lost far more than a minute while creeping to the pits. Nonetheless I could gain some places to 7th pos and then made that unforced error on lap 29
I have a question (pool 3): In lap 29 I got heavily damaged and went into pits. While I was getting repaired the leader finished the race and I got instantly a DNF. Why is that?
A very annoying thing with LCD TVs in general is, that almost all of them have problems with supporting the whole range of common PC video modes. Some of them can not even handle their native resolution, so you would have to use a lower resolution which is upscaled then. Normally the list of compatible modes is not listed in the customer specs, so I would explicitly ask for this before buying one (or better you find the model somewhere tested in a computer magazine).
Becky, I think all of us have met idiots on track douzens of times, too. Don't you think that you encourage those people by your I'm-a-girl-and-feel-discriminated-threads to find it even more funny to bother especially you? Sorry, but I've the feeling that you actually like this role and to discuss it again and again...
(I didn't read the whole thread but the first post only, sorry if something similar has been mentioned before already)
The actual issue is about helping one racer while ruining the race for 14 others... why are the admins mortally offended (and that's the only message I can read from this poll) if this comes up for discussion?? I would have done earlier, but it's the first time I noticed that someone changed more than one pool down.
Does that make any sense btw? I would have been quite frustrated, if I was a pool 9 driver seeing someone who's actually five pools faster and consequently makes it completely impossible for someone else to win the race :thumbsdow
What a dilemma... actually I hate the FXO, the way it feels, the way it sounds, the way it looks, the way it drives. But for all that I'm still almost 1 sec faster with it compared to the other two, which I enjoy much more :banghead: . Think I'll go for FXO anyway, it's about winning after all...
yeah, or let's better call it dodg'em instead of rally cross. it's simple as that: rallying suffers a lot more from latency issues on network cons than track racing on tarmac does, because there're a lot of rapid movements on input controllers and it's almost impossible to predict or interpolate that by LFS or any other sim. So let's just focus with LFS and OLFSL on what is really state of the art in online racing sims... and with LFS that's a lot but not rallying. Just my very personal opinion.
