what about the actual mechanics underneath the car? (steering mechanism, suspension, drivetrain and so on...)

I think more smoke should be implemented, but they should also work on how it gets emitted!. for example, in a drift or a burnout or whatever, smoke gets emitted from the entire wheel and not just the base of it!

Totally agree with how important sound is, even if you don't think much about it after have driven in lfs for some time, i't would enhance the experience so much with more realistic sound

Why even bother about arguing against drifters request's of a better looking drift car..
You wouldn't have to drive it, and it wouldn't destroy your gaming experience if there was a car in the game that was more for the drifters..

Drifting is not a side effect of racing, it is a official motorsport!

Just give me a car that looks like the XRT GTR but handle's like the XRT and I will be happy...

Okay forget about the dragsters ans so on.

And I know drift cars are stock cars that has been tweaked. But so is most race classes aswell... D1 cars has different suspension, different tyres, more steering lock and yes, more horse power.
Why is everybody so against drifters? Draggers have got their special track so why can't the drifters get their?

They are already planning tp put dragsters, karts nad trucks into the game.. Why not give the drifters a proper droft car with good drifting tyres and so on.

Would really like to see a serious drift car in S3.

Why not have a ''rice'' type class with 2-3 cars? They don't have to be tuneable, and you don't have to be able to put on jumbo-jet wings and badly fitted bodykits..

along with that you could add N2O, this could be available as an option when starting a server so you could simply turn it off. what do ya'll think?

but if this was optional on servers, it would probably mean that all of the dedicated servers would have this and the others would run daytime races.

Leave LFS as it is and put out a LFS tweak for S2. But only alow the tweak to work in single player mode!!

I think this is a stupid idea...

imagine being in a race all concentrated, and then the admin pauses the game.. You lose your concentration and then when he starts it again you would crash and burn...

Just don't play the game when you can't concentrate properly.

didn't we have overheating in S1?? Cause if you run the engine to long on a high rev it would slow down and eventually shut down...

and i agree with you, there is probably no way to get away from the drivers that act before thinking! instead of taking it easy and letting you pass them, they loose their cool and push it too much

I managed to pass a guy on the blackwood straight using slipstream, and as we approached the corner after the straight he was right behind me. I slammed my brakes to get into the corner and the guy locks up and hits me, sending both of us into the sand illepall
I had the lead after 10 out of 15 laps, and he had broken his race and was fresh out the pits.. I got so F****** mad!

Anyway, maybe we have to be more carefull approaching them..
