Did it really lose? Just by readin comments of some of the biggest rf2 enthusiast, I can finally appeciate the fact that Scawen wont release NTM until it is perfect. Releasing somethin half way done and that expensive... major fail for me.
Respect to Scavier, I am willing to shut up for a year and wait

@dawesdust

If you are being sarcastic about the role of women in (most) societies, you are very, very good at it. You are making an even bigger fool out of yourself (I believe it is called trolling) but still quite clever.
If you want to share your opinion on such matter, go find yourself a kitchen-based forum where you can debate the situation in which your GF will dump you
It would be nice (for me at least) to check this forum and find relevant posts next to each other and not hidden in this amount of c**p.
And yes, you actually got me to reply for the worst possible reason to a topic that I've been following since post #1. As you may see, I don't like to post that much, at least on this forum - too many, how should I say, people like you

I can't wait for the patch to come out because it means that many of my friends will probably start racing again and I can have fun more often

Quote from cargame.nl :Don't believe it. Or the serverspy tool is outdated and reporting not everything. Where can I get an overview like we have on LFSW?

Maybe there is a better option but I use the ingame server list for reference, I can tell you from my experience and from links for leagues that friends send me.

Touring Car Legends, Spa and grid of 40+ is a dream come true. I know that some servers in LFS are also full but if you look only at active F1 leagues i believe you'll find more than in LFS altogether. And I dont even like open-wheelers that much.

Not so long ago I said that LFS community in Slovenia died. It is quite the opposite with every other simulation. We have championships in rfactor, race (wtcc and now stcc2) and we keep track of iracing. Your experience may be different but there is no way you will persuade me that LFS has more racing than rfactor atm. For more than 2 years I avoided other sims because LFS seemed perfect and even if it is not I would still race in LFS. And my main problem is that I like racing with my friends and I just hate to try new things. It took me more than 2 years to apply for an international league and now I'm loving it. CTRA was perfect; once you got past a couple of crashers there was only pure racing in front of you - and I got that feeling two weeks ago in FRL after a long, long time.

This is all very subjective, I am aware of that. But then again, if someone like me started to search elsewhere... I don't need new content - the problem is that every other sim has it and it is dragging people away...
Btw, wanna race sometime? I'm good enough that I won't embarass myself and bad enough that I wont win

I have been thinking for a long time about feedback to different wheels ni different games. Momo for example is very powerful but also quite lazy in most games (from my experience). Atm, I have a Logitech df gt and it is a great wheel, very responsive and very powerful - until I started driving in iRacing. Compared to G25, totally unresponsive. I can't drive the Solstice or Lotus 79 with it. Not fast at least
We just finished 2h endurance on FRL with UFR. I had to reduce ff to 40% just to feel my arms at the end
Feedback in LFS is excellent but as someone wrote... if the tracks are not bumpy you cant feel the bumps, just the grip (or the lack of it)

Slovenian LFS community died in recent weeks. It was dying for a long time. Leagues did not help. People go away. I am leaving... no one to race with... and I like racing my friends.

I tried a racing forum that covers almost every sim (LFS apparently didn't catch on) and now I am having trouble to find the time for every event I want to participate in. It got me so far I even bought a 1-year iRacing license and I was always saying that I will never give that amount of money for a game - especially if I wouldn't own it in the end.

Times change. Writing a bunch of cra* won't help anyone. Too bad this post won't help. Oh well, gotta go and practice to defend the advantage in the wtcc championship, f1 is starting, rating in iRacing won't improve by itself. When there will be someone to race with on LFS servers (and I don't care if it is S1, S2 or S3), I will come back. Until then, I will read your insulting posts and amuse myself with these nonsense comments

Oh, by the way. I know I will get a lot of "great" replies... I am active in one LFS league and just joined another one... have to give it one last chance until situation improves

Quote from Ni-san :Hahaha... Unfortunately I think you're right.

I think those who buy games at Steam are in a completely different customer group than those LFS is meant for.

I have every game from the Race series and I use them through Steam and they are not the only sims on my list Steam is great software, especially with discounts
To get on topic, LFS would probably get more publicity but those who are serious racers probably know of it anyway. I started with LFS and by now I've tried every sim on the market that is worth trying.
However, it is true that from the customers' point of view, you gain nothing since you can download it and pay with paypal

Quote from boosterfire :I understand the point of your metaphor, but the problem here is that there is no prospect of "getting there" in any sort of way. The donkey only sees endless landscape ahead.

And all that while the gods Scavier could provide a map (or at least an idea of what's ahead and what's behind by now).

You should read the whole post
I'm glad that you understand it, maybe you even understood that something is happening about the update. The last part (that this is my opinion) obviously slipped by you
The number of my posts says enough about how much i care about many useless opinions
This one was an exception and I wrote it just to see how many bumps will I get. One is enough.
Even 6 months ago, I thought that LFS is perfect and that I will always stick with it. But now, Slovenian lfs community is practicaly dead, I started a wtcc season in Race On and I'm having fun. I still race on our server and in FRL but slowly moving elsewhere because I hate driving alone
My point is: stop writing useless c**p and do something else while waiting. That is, if the current version of LFS is not enough
That is my opinion and if it bothers you, do whatever you like. I know that there will still be a lot of c***y posts and that I wont change a thing. Sometimes it just feels good to say something.
Over and out for quite some time

Donkey, travelling to Far Far Away:
Are we there yet?
Are we there yet?
Are we there yet?

We're getting there... if you're bored of it, go to sleep or play with something else and
I am not among the veterans of this game but been around long enough to know it is worth waiting. End of story for me.

I've been playing lfs for more than two years now and my number of posts on this forum is ridiculously low. Why? Because it is hard to say anything that hasn't been said already. I am quite happy with improving my mileage and laptimes and - even if I check this forum quite regularly - have no need to spam it even more (i use our local lfs website to do that :razz
The bottom line for me is: why do you even bother moaning about updates? Just go racing and be pleasantly surprised when they do come.
This post will satisfy my need to spam the forum for a long time... but I will be reading posts, mostly to get a laugh or two from people that are still annoyed because of delays
