No, I mean that different.
I can now use runtime 0.7 and for HL2 I can downgrade the SteamVR beta version to v1446847085 in settings. Did not know that this is possible.
But using the Rift with SteamVR can work. Elite Dangerous for example does not support the Rift directly, you can only run it using SteamVR (or the older runtime 0.5). They stopped direct Rift support after runtime 0.6 release and since them it only works on the Rift using SteamVR.

This was only a question, don't need to be frustrated.
I have only asked because you already made some DLL Files or something else in the past for different versions. You posted it here and in Oculus Forum and I read it, that's it.
It was not an request for coding something individual for me.

Back to my question and what I have done now.
SteamVR can be downgraded in settings to an older version of the beta that works with 0.6, takes only few seconds.
In this point SteamVR seems to be more flexible then oculus and can connect to different versions and use it.

Just updated my LFS and wanted to Download the new Track (activate S3).
But after trying LFS with my Rift (runtime 0.6) it seems that it does not work anymore with that runtime. But I can't update the runtime because I am playing Half Life VR with Hydra and this need 0.6.
Is there any way to get the new Version of LFS running with the Rift using runtime 0.6?

It was the Profiler and the LFS.exe. LFS.exe didn't change but it seems after Update to 0.6G the profile have to be made new.
Now with a new profile to the same LFS.exe it works.

Yes, I testet it already.
It don't aceppt the weel buttons shift paddles.
But if I test the weel buttons and shift paddles in the logitech tool all works.
Also if I start LFS 0.6F (i have a backup), the shift paddles works with 0.6F fine.
But now with 0.6G in the options it "flashs" when pressing but they do not be shown or saved.
I also think that this is not a bug. But it don't work and i don't know why, need help.
In the last step i will install it new, sure. But maybe there is something else that i can do?

That's terrible, this means I have to wait for a new update (if it is a bug, I don't know). And you know, this can take weeks or months. That's not ok for me, maybe it's the right time to move :-( But if I do so, I will miss the very good Ocuus Rift Support..... stupid situation for me

After Update to 0.6G can't shift anymore

This week I Updated LFS to play with a friend.
After the Update we tried to play but we could not shift anymore in the game.
I have a Logitech G25 and did not have that problem in the past.
I also tried to use the "s" and "x" key on the keyboard but this did not work, same as with the weel buttons.
So I thougt the weel have any damage and we play something else.
Today I want to test it again and also to see if the weel is damaged to buy a new one.

Not every browser supports it. If you have more than one browser try it with another one if it don't work with the first one. If you can't watch the Video in the browser Download it, click with the right mouse button on it and select Dowload.

now after my DK2 also arrived I could test it with LFS and I have to say that it was fantastic. Thanks for that really good work. Yesterday we played nearly two hours, switched driver every 10 Laps. Until know the second Person could look at the monitor while the other was driving, but in LFS with the Osulus Rift there is only at the Rift a image of the game. Will there be a Window with ingame image at the other screen in the future like in the Demos I tested?
For the next time we will try a HDMI splittter that my Friend will bring from home, maybe this is already the solution for us.

"Leap Motion" for the Oculus Rift. It detects Hands and Fingers in the air as you can see in the Video (start @ 0:54 language german). Sure the range is not so much (see @ 3:12 in the Video) but maybe enough to put it at the Virtual / Real wheel and back. Maybe also a little bit to the left or right to use virtual buttons in the car.

I made a small tool for easier access to LFS and other programs.
The aim was to start LFS with other programs together with 3 seconds break between program starts.
I have also added a few launch buttons for some LFS programs and two Custom Buttons.
Feel free to try it if you have time and interest.

Only testet with resolution 1920x1080.
Other resolution maybe not work.
