Nostalgic memories coming back. No one would remember me I was never a competitive racer. I decided just today to check the good ole LFs site to see if S3 ever did get released. It really saddens me to see LFS does not appear to be moving forward. I grew up with this game. Pre S1 drifting the GTT around old blackwood was my favorite. Drags down the back strip....dial up internet lol.
When I logged on to say hello my user CP said I had not logged since feb 2008 It has been forever since I have actually raced, my g25 is collecting dust. Every once in a while I get the urge, but it never feels the same.
I remember some names mentioned in this thread, I was never much of a poster but I lurked a lot. I am sure if S3 ever comes out i will donate my money to the cause and jump back in to see if I can be revived.
For now I have to many real life toys to tune and play with. I hope this game makes a comeback, it truly is a great racing sim.
To be honest I can not even remember when I started. It has been so many years. Long before S1 i know that...To bad I havent played much in the last few months....work is taking all my time.
Hey guys, I too just bought a x850xt 256 meg AGP. Same crap since 5.12's. I have tried everything. I also have HT enabled w/ my 3.0c. Hopefully we can resolve this. I will visit some of those links.
I am no turbo expert, but maybe you have been living in the shadows to never have heard of a dump valve before? Where are you from? It could be more of an americanized term if you are from another country?
I would hardly classify it any sort of "e-penis" Its more a matter of veteran status :P In defence what is the point of a join date if it doesnt matter? It really is no big deal, and I by no means want this to escalate into a heated debate. I just thought it would be a nice addition as it DOES have relevance to the RSC forum on LFS, as each at one point where the official lfs forum. So, when one takes over, you would assume that the other would uphold the stats. Same with people wanting the posts brought over. (as in the topics; very informative and a part of our lfs community)
Does anyone else feel it would be good to carry over the stats from the RSC site to here? I never had many posts but its more the join date I like. It kind of represents your time with this great sim. I had played demo for quite a while before joining rsc but it is still a representation. Anyone?
Im with Hallen on this one i think. I believe a vibrant, appealing interface is much more enjoyable to use than a lack-luster standard one. I feel if it looks boring it can feel boring.
Im sorry, this subsection just looked so empty being the only one with zero topics. If I knew a foreign language I would most liklely have something to say here....however I don't.
