Quote from Scawen :Test Patch U21:

Interface:

Brakes / TC tab in garage separated into two columns (e.g. FZ50)
FIX: Heat in garage car's tyres was not updated when tyre changed

New handling for 'CAR.lfs' and 'shift_type.lfs' scripts:

LFS runs 'road.lfs' / 'sequential.lfs' / 'paddle.lfs' directly
(previously these scripts were called from a CAR.lfs script)
This is done after loading a car and immediately before CAR.lfs
Commands to run these scripts from another script are ignored

Graphics:

Avoid upward lighting related to ground colour in internal views

InSim:

New bytes output if /showfuel=yes
IS_NPL Fuel : initial fuel load
IS_PIT FuelAdd : fuel added

Translation update for help.txt:

host_cars - max is now 32
guest_cars - max is now 32
max_packs - max is now 12
mip_bias - default settings now -0.5 / -1.0 / -1.5 / -2.0

https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/95016

Will InSim be able to set the fuel/ tire wear, etc?

Quote from kagurazakayukari :Change in windows control panel?

Why change the whole system sensitivity just to make the car more driveable? For me makes no sense. LFS should have an mouse sensitivity option

Quote from Ibtasim6781 :Use Wheel / Joystick and assign Mouse X to Steer and then decrease the multiplier (default x1.0).

I if decrease the multiplier the wheel doesn't turn all the way to the left/right

Quote from kagurazakayukari :Reduce your mouse sensetivity

And how I am supposed to do that? I can't find any setting. Also I can't reduce my DPI because I already use it on minimum.

Quote from Ibtasim6781 :You can also increase Analog Steer Smooth which can leave the steering close to what you are used to without changing sensitivity. But that is per personal preference.

This doesn't change the sensitivity and adds a delay while steering

Drivingg on mouse, the more steering the more sensitive the mouse becomes. Is there a way to change it so instead of increasing the sensitivity it increases the area that the mouse has to move?

Maybe a flag to disable/enable it on InSim?

I would recommend using PostgreSQL, it's free and open source.
Here you can see how to get started: https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/tutorial-start.html

Player presses connect -> IS_NCI triggered
Start measuring time -> Start a timer
Player is conntecing to server -> IS_NPL triggered
Players get message: Player connected (Licence name)
Stop measuring time -> Stop the timer
Send message how long it took him to connect in seconds -> trigger IS_MTC

Ok, so there's a guy trying to impersonate me on a cracked community forum. Besides criminal he is a dumb, my username is R0ut66 and not ROut66.
If you see this person out there or on any cracked server, don't be fooled by this person because it's not me. I do not make part in any unofficial LFS server

Would be so nice to have individual headlights. What I mean is like: If someone crash you on the left side, it will broke the left lamp as well

Will be possible to change the time with insim without ending the race?

I like the static one. And a suggestion, when it goes slow motion make the sound a little ear raping, would be awesome

Something they could add is a mod support for it or a open map which connects all the tracks

Quote from Racon :Just thinking aloud...

I have, scribbled in a notebook somewhere, plans and algos for detecting drafting distance and overlap in order to simulate the over-heating you get if you don't expose some of your grill every now and then. I was thinking of maybe having a minimum pit-time dependent on how well you'd kept the air flowing, to balance against the benefit of running a draft, but...

If HCP has an effect on already joined cars, Route66's suggestion of being able to apply to it individual players would allow me to simulate the effect of the over-heating directly by knobbling each car via restriction. That'd be worth a tinker, definitely Smile

It triggers all the cars, even if it aren't on the track yet. Frown

Quote from Sobis :Funny thing! I was there ~2 months ago! The car was underpowered XFG (to simulate an old car) with 4 gears. It had custom pedals (sadly no clutch) and a custom all metal clunky H shifter. It was quite fun.

The sad part was that the LFS there is quite old (check the minimap) and worst of all - they didn't say that it's LFS anywhere Frown!

LFS should update their terms of use, if it's on public places they should inform that is lfs or add a lfs logo there

So my idea is to make is_hcp to work on each player individually using playerid, instead of applying the effect in all cars
