Hi, I have a Logitech g920 with the gteye brake mod, however I after a year of use I put the rubber block back in and prefer the feel. However, it is way to stiff (to the point where my whole rig is bending), so has anyone managed to find a softer block anywhere or made something them selves?
Quick note, please don't suggest a load cell, I'm sure there great, but it's out of my price range and I'm not particularly sold on the reviews either.
None of the buttons one the steering wheel are working along with the left paddle shifter on my G27. This is not an LFS only thing, The g27 driver doesn't pick up inputs from any button on the steering wheel.
However the pedals, H pattern shifter and buttons on the shifter all work fine along with all the shift lights. Which leads me on to think that the problem is in the pcb behind the steering wheel where the shifter paddles are.
Does anyone know why this is happening and if it is fixable or not?
I have a phone with Sim dashboard on it so i like to turn off the onscreen steering wheel.
How ever in the formula cars when i turn the steering wheel off the virtual hud/delta comes on.
Is there anyway to turn this off?
Hi all. Afew days ago I made a button box,
But the switches I used are either on or off (I think their toggle). So if I say, go to turn the pit limiter on, I simply flick the switch to it's up position. But instead of simply flicking it down to to disingage the limiter, have to flick the switch down and then back up.
I understand why this is happening, because the game looks for an input to activate the key. But because the switch holds the key on I have to flick it off and then back on again to activate the key again.
I was wondering if it was possible to make it so that the limiter would stay on as long as the button was active, and as soon as the input ends the limiter disingages.(the pit limiter is an example, it could be for any key).
By the way this isn't just for LFS, it also does it for just about every thing
Hi all. I've got a Cool app that can display a rev counter on my phone, it's really cool and I use it for alot of Sims.
When I play something like pc2 the rev counter resets for that specific car,But when I change car in LFS it just goes with the highest rpm that I've reached, so if I drive an f1 car then switch to a different car it still thinks I'm driving the f1 car.
It would be much appreciated if someone has a solution to this issue.
I feel like Asseto Corsa has more refined force feed back. You can feel what the car is doing, when it is oversteeing, understanding and an all round better detail than LFS. Same goes for AC physics, however AC has come to the end of its development. Unlike LFS.
But LFS still has many upsides, I think it does a lot of stuff better than other Sims. For example I think it has the best multiplayer layout when choosing a server, one of the most accessible forums and most importantly a friendly community that are just as passionate about racing just as much as you are.(not to mention that the developers interact with the people in the forum's, which makes you know about about them, so you want to support what there doing)
But unlike other Sims you can tell that the LFS developers have put passion and enjoyment into the simulator, not saying that this isn't the case about other Sims, but there's something about LFS that translates that emotion into actual gameplay.
Which is why I actually enjoy playing LFS more than AC, shore LFS is getting a little bit old, but this new update should modernize it keep up with AC and iracing, but despite this still find it the enjoyable to play.(could be because this was the first game I ever bought)
(mind you this is my appinion and you might agree or disagree, it's just and appinion)
hi all. I came back to LFS about a week ago. Iv been really enjoying it, but the ai are awfully. I was using the f1 cars at Blackwood, and on the first lap on the first corner, there were huge pile ups, and after lap one they were just ramming me off the track commingled into T1. Along with other things.
