If r_fog is assigned to turn pit lights, shouldn't slider (or any animation)subobj react to pit light imput? im breaking my brain whit it lol

if it isnt possible, can we get a pit switch to connect on the subobj? independently of the pit mapping (l_brk or l_rfog)

Tonight's AT champ fox. Race suspended due to brazil server doing weird things. We didin't change to USA because we already lost at least 30' of race time restarting the server and we're mostly from argentina so its not convenient to close racing with +200ms. Its a thing that has been happening for at least 1y. In every race after starting the event we restart the server because its always falling. It's getting me very tyred because we've lost participation due to these server issues, ppl dont even want to race becuase they'll probably get timeouts or massive lag crashes. Pics are from moments before restarting the servers.

edit: thank you very much for your honest answer! i'll keep that in mind for the future.

They're indeed dynamic because they're traction control lights. Maybe you're using a setup that has TC off and that's why they're always on. Lockup light clusters aren't available because the type of dashboard we're ussing doesn't support ABS indicators.

great update, whoever, why cant the backing be used in a subobj? e.j, steering wheel. since formulas and some gt's has steering wheel dashboards.

Westhill international without chicane

Good morning devs, racers.

We're hosting another multiclass endurance race in a few months, this time in the Westhill international circuit. Doing a few tests here and there we've ended using the open configuration to have the track without the last chicane (for multiclass safety and overtaking points). The problem is that with the open config, you load the entire circuit and it demands more cpu resulting laggy for some users, flags dont work propperly and the minimap is annoying big. It would be cool to add a new configuration of International without chicane, named International Historic or smth like that. Here's my lazy representation of the minimap.

Previously, the flashing light was enabled by F1 class, but now it is set by its own switch. You do need LFS Test Patch D24 to see the effect of the new switch, or it will still be controlled by the race class.

Great adition, but would be hard to add a new mapping for it? Mapping it as brake makes it confuse. Most of modern cars have a dedicated pit/rain light. Seeing it as brake is confusing lol. My suggestion is to move it from brk to fog Tongue

Anyways love the update. Very useful.

I would like to start this progress report thanking to all our donors and supporters:

Terga (terga), Francis (4g63), Cury (d_cury), Fede (Fedeeclay), Pablo (xpablousky) and Agustin (agustinipsa)

Without them this wouldn't be possible, and in return of their support, they will be beta testers of every stage of the mod until it public release.


With that said, here's some interior progress (aprox 2 weeks of work from @kenblock30). Talking about physics, @[BAR] S.S and @gtamax89 are currently working on making it as accurate as possible with the little data found online. We're struggling to find accurate aerodynamic values so that'll delay the release a little bit.

Now we have headlights, antenas, mirrors, diffuser and position display (already asked scawen to add position into s_info, so it will work propperly in the future) Euge is also working on the wheels
