They have plenty to do.. Here in Sydney (Where that footage is from) there's been shootings every few days between warring drug families, bikies shooting each other every few weeks too. But obviously an air filter sticking out of a bonnet is a much greater danger to society then drive by shootings in suburban streets.
No one here is suprised about the reporter mistaking an evo for a subbie, that show is by far the worst example of journalism on oz tv. They interviewed others that got defected in that bust but they only chose to show the morons as usual. Typical one sided report by them.
Pretty crazy doing that this time of the year. Double demerits haven't started over this side yet and there's highway patrol everywhere already. But then again if you're caught doing 250kph, you're licence is gone for a couple years anyway. I've already got my quiet muffler on to avoid hassles
It will sit a bit lower when the springs settle in a few days. It handles like its on rails now. Just gotta wait until the long weekend and police blitz is over to take it on the back roads for some fun
I used to skate as a kid, so i seen their CKY vids way before they were famous and they made me laugh my arse off. But that's not really what made me reply, cause usually, i just can't be bothered posting. I do agree with what you, and others, have said about mourning someone just cause they're famous. I don't understand how people can mourn someone they didn't know personally either.
I replied cause of what you said about having no pity for someone who brought something upon them self. From your post, i assume that you've never lost someone to a DUI related death. I've lost one close friend who decided to drive drunk, and i've lost another friend due to speeding. Whilst i do agree with you to a degree, about reaping what you sow, most people get a second chance to learn from their mistakes. Others pay the ultimate price. I have pity on them because they didn't get that second chance.
Then again, maybe i'm just turning into an old hippy
Having no sympathy cause you didn't know someone is one thing. Implying that they deserved what happened to them, cause they were trying to impress stupid american teenagers, is another.
I'll try to get my point across to you in a way that you will hopefully understand.
What if you went to your local Lada dealer and bought a car. Then, when you got the car home, you found that there were problems with it. You take it back to the dealer and he says to you.. "No comarade, i don't care that you pay me 500 lats, you can't expect me to fix this car by next winter, you can't even ask me when it will be fixed because you have a crazy brain. I'm going back inside to drink some vodka"
The response to Eric's post is spot on imho. It's very poor customer service. We as paying customers deserve a little more respect then being called "mentally ill" because we would like some info on the product that we purchased. No offence, but he's not exactly the hardest working member of Scavier.
I understand that we all bought the product "as is" and that the developers aren't obliged to provide any more content or improvements beyond the purchase date. But as paying customers, i think we are entitled to a little more info on what's being worked on, or if it is still actually being worked on.
Some info here and there will surely get rid of all these type of threads.
Personally, i couldn't give a shit about the scirocco, it sounds about as exciting as watching paint dry. What i am waiting for is improvements to the things that have been frustrating like crash physics and hopefully a new track. Something that will get me addicted to LFS again.
Just my 2 cents.

No, logic will tell you that seeing the tyres go up in smoke and then grip again shows actual throttle control. But I'm done wasting my time here since you can't grasp this simple concept.
Nitromethane will only light up under pressure. That's what gives nitro cars 8000hp. It will not light with a naked flame but it will explode with a hammer blow.
Because there's not enough cars/money to compete in a championship. Just like here in Australia, they have a couple cars going around doing demonstration runs and that's about it.
In the US they have 24 NHRA championship events per season with over 20 cars trying to get into a 16 car field and that's just nitro funny car. They have huge budgets sometimes fielding 2 or even 3 car teams in each class.
Anyone who thinks a 5 event season (FIA/UEM) with limited cash and second grade tracks can actually be quicker and faster than the US racing is a complete moron.
