Live For Speed-LeMans League Rules: 1)Entry: 1. Any driver with a valid S2 Licence is welcome to join. 2. If a possible entrant was penalized from a previous race that resulted from being banned from an upcoming race, that entrant may not join. 3. Entrants are to choose from two differnt vehicle catagorys, 3 for each class, for a total of 22 participants, not including the race steward, for a total of 22 cars.: -Air restricted GTR's (FXR,25% - FZR,20% - XRR,25%) -GTR class (FXR - FZR - XRR) Entrants may choose one vehicle for the upcoming race, and must adhere to choice. 4. If an entrant cannot race on the specified date, then it is the entrants responsibility to inform the steward by either private message or within the pertinent race league thread, no later than 1 week before the event. 5. Race steward has the right to choose or eliminate any entrants. 6. Race Steward has the right to choose a vehicle from the GT2 catagory, but not to use a GT1 vehicle. This is so the race steward is able to participate in a race, and observe general conduct. 2)Practice and Qualification: 1. Qualification will start one half hour (30 minutes) before the actual event. During qualification, you can option to not participate, therefore resulting in a last place starting position for the race grid. 2. During practice and qualification, you may use the control shift + S to warp back to the pits. If for some reason the entrant gets disconnected from the game, the entrant may join again. 3. Chatter using messages will be kept to a minimum. 3)Race event: 1. Event will start less than 10 minutes after qualifying ends. This is so entrants may use the facilites, consume foodstuffs or tobbaco products. 2. There will be no restarts unless a severe server crash comes up. 2a.Use common sense when entering turn 1 for the first lap. 3. During race, chatter and messages will kept to a minimum. In other words, please be silent and drive. 4. Race will end when the overall leader crosses the finish line after completing the specified amount of laps for the race. 4a.Entrants are allowed to switch drivers, both in name only and physically. The new driver is expected to follow the rules contained within. 5. Talking, chatting and flooding is prohibited until every entrant has crossed the finish line. 6. Entrants are prohibited to smash and crash into each other after the race is done. Doing so may resulting in banning in any future races. 7. If for some reason the player gets disconnected, they are allowed to join and spectate in the server but not to participate in the race. 8. 4 slots will be open for spectating. Spectators are NOT allowed to type any messages during the race event.Doing so will result in being banned from the server for the duration of that race. 4)General racing rules: 1. If the entrant is to get into an accident, the Entrant is prohibited from using "SHIFT+S" to get back to the pits. You must limp your vehicle to the pits. 1a.The entrant, when limping the vehicle back to the pits, must have their hazard lights on (use the number 9 to turn hazards on, 0 to turn hazards off). The entrant, when limping back to the pits, may not block the race line. 2. Entrant is required to pit at least once during the duration of the race, but cannot pit during the first or last lap of the race. Practice and qualification events are excluded from this rule. 3. Yellow and blue flag indications are to be observed promptly. Both flags are to be recognized by all entrants. 3a. Yellow flags are to be treated as a genuine danger to entrants. Please exercise caution. 3b. When an entrant gets a blue flag, the entrant is to comply as soon as they can. This means the entrant who gets a blue flag is not expected to slow down and let others through in a low or medium speed corner, but when the first straight or high speed corner is availible. 3c. When the times comes to let the other pass, According to IMSA code Article 6, subarticle 1, "It is the responsibility of both the overtaking and overtaken Drivers to assure safe passing at racing speeds. A car traveling alone may use the full width of the track. Passing may be either right or left depending on the conditions of the moment". 3d. If the race steward sees a gross misuse of messages along the lines of *BLUE FLAG MOVE* the entrant doing the messaging will be banned from future races. Any more powerful car harrasing a slower car or VICE VERSA will be likewise banned from any future races. Gross misuse is constituted as 3 times during one race. Entrants are also asked to keep horn honking and lights flashing to a minimum. Anything excessive is considered abuse. Friendly honks are tolerated, but kept to a minimum. 4. Entrants are expected to behave as competitive, well mannered Ladies and Gentleman. Swearing and abusive behavior is neither tolerated nor permitted. 5. The organiser of this (these) races may at any time, update the rules as described above. 5b. When rules are changed or ammended, the organiser has the duty to inform the race entrants via either email or within a pertinent thread.
