ReadMe for BeSpoke
******************
NB. This readme is NOT a tutorial. Most of the menu options are (hopefully) self-explanatory. Click them and see what they do if you are not sure.

Acknowledgements
================
Thanks to everyone who's made suggestions and provided assistance in the making of BeSpoke. Special thanks to Fonnybone, without whom BeSpoke would never have happened, and mbrio for helping with the 3D view :)

Supported versions of LFS
=========================
Currently, BeSpoke supports the following licenced, unlocked versions of Live for Speed (Demo/locked versions are not supported):
S2: 0.5V, 0.5V2

Installing BeSpoke
=========================
BeSpoke does not need to be installed, you can just run BeSpoke.exe to launch the program, BUT BeSpoke.exe must reside in your LFS folder.
You can store the wheel presets (.rim files) in a seperate folder anywhere on your hard drive that you wish.

Using BeSpoke
=============
If you just want to use pre-made rims, use the "File" menu to load a design. Make sure Live for Speed is running and select "Export to LFS" from the "LFS" menu.

To create your own designs you need to select "Full design mode" from the view menu. I'll only cover the basics here, as there really is no substitute for playing with it to see what effect changes have.
- The 3 grids show the wheel hub and spoke/s from the 3 standard projections.
- To change the number of spokes, use the "No. of spokes" drop-down.
- To edit a part of the spoke, select the "Vertex" you wish to move from the drop-down and use the "Adjust vertex position" sliders to move that vertex.
- To edit the hub, select a "Hub" section from the drop-down and use the "Adjust hub section" sliders to edit the design.

With both the Vertex & the Hub sliders, you can copy and paste values using Ctrl-RMB & Shift-RMB (RMB=right mouse button), just as you can in Live for Speed.

Once you have a design you are happy with, use the "Export to LFS" option from the "LFS" menu to see your design in-game. Obviously, Live for Speed must be running at this stage :)
If you like what you see in-game, give the design a short description and save your design from the "File" menu.

Troubleshooting
===============
Error - "Could not find correct version of Live for Speed running!":
	In theory there are only 4 reasons why you should see this error message:
	1. You are running a version of Live For Speed that is not recognised by BeSpoke;
	2. You haven't read this ReadMe properly - Live For Speed isn't running. BeSpoke applies the changes in memory, so the game must be started for you to be able to 'export to LFS';
	3. You have a modified LFS.exe;
	4. You have run an application to change the Live For Speed window title. Why?
	The last 2 are unlikely.

No error message, but the change is not visible in Live for Speed:
	This could happen if you have more than 1 instance of Live for Speed running (perhaps a server and a normal game). BeSpoke will currently only work if there is 1 copy of LFS running. If there is sufficient demand this will be fixed.
